Just installed a new GTX570 and downloaded the latest on-line drivers (263.09_Win764).  The install fails because it can't locate a compatible card.

Suggestions?

    Try these:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-263.09-whql2-driver.html
nvidia has two versions on their site..

This is the one you might have tried (ie. wrong one):

I think you may need to restart once first :)

You are correct, first one you suggested works. Thanks.

I downloaded from EVGA support and wasn't given a choice.  Obviously it downloads the wrong one (at least for me).

System had been restarted several times before this problem.  Something seems to be amiss with the package available on EVGA downloads.  Guess it could always be "user error" but a pretty straight forward process.  Oh well!

I had the same issue, if you look at the notes for the EVGA release of the 263.09 driver it states only the gtx 580 even though we're supposed to install this particular version.  I just used the nvidia 263.09's off their website which states support for 580/570.

Maybe so but poor web site management when it causes 570 users problems.  This ain't rocket surgery when there is a usable package they could have linked.

By the way, I'm not pointing at you.  This is neither your job nor your responsibility.
