I don’t know when they will give more info on battery life. I didn’t notice any performance loss when updating, but my phone was new when it released.

I would also like to see a software update that let's you be able to get delete all your emails at once, instead of only being able to do it by choosing one at a time.
 
 
Also, regarding fast charge. Starting with iOS 11.2, the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X are able to charge at 7.5 watts using compatible Qi-based wireless charging accessories. It was previously only able to charge at 5 watts. It's supposed to go up to 15 watts, but still waiting for that update.

IOS is fast charge. It went from 5 watts to 7.5. IOS I'm guessing will be higher later on, unless IOS is changed to another name.

Went and put it on the charger (that Apple told me to buy on phone #2 for the same issue) and it stopped. I just upgraded to new code; wondering if it's a software glitch.
 
Resets don't bother to do anything.

I assume you're on 11.2.2 and have no issues wireless charging?
 
When I went in last time it suddenly stopped working -- had the guy put it on 4 different charges no luck. Tech comes out, hard reset on phone, and it starts working. I end up buying Mophie charging base from them. Of course 20 some days later, I update to 11.2.2 and few days after that it stops.
 
I think it's device -- trying to lean on software. My first one last me a month (got it on launch day) and the screen just stopped responding to touch. Got new phone and now this one is plagued with wireless.
 
I need to decide how many times I want to deal with this before I finally just downgrade to 8 Plus.

Fast Charge? That was introduced in 11.2 base codes.

I upgraded my iPhone X in hopes wireless charging would work again. I was let down—it’s definitely a hardware issue.

I’m trying to get appointment at the Apple store but the past 2 weeks they’ve been booked. Looks like I’m going there this weekend and camping out at open to get on list. Gives my wife a reason to go shopping since it’s at our town center.

I plan to upgrade my battery regardless since might as well since the price is reasonable and the new battery should last a lot longer then the one I had.

Notice though with fast charge, your battery might die quicker than anticipated because it might be very warm when doing so.
