We upgraded the wife to the iPhone X, but I am still struggling with my hatred for the iPhone products in general. Maybe someday I will be ok with it, but as it stands, I can not stand this phone.

Well that's awesome of you to give her what she wants and not fight her on it too much.

She loves it. I will always try to give her the things she wants and needs, and I hope they are things she ends up liking.

Also, she loves the Animoji feature... I get talking poo all the time.

LMAO Oh man I love that feature too. Its hilarious!! 
Can't wait for them to add more.
 
Well like I said, you rock for that. Too many times I see significant others who bar their spouse from getting XYZ device because they cant stand it and dont want it in their house, or because they "Know better, and know what they REALLY want"

What really caught me off guard but I LOVE. I have a little stand both a work and home office where I sit my phone so I can glance at it and have it charging. When a new message or notification comes up it just says I have a message, but when I look at it it shows me the message contents, when I look away it hides it again. Just the little things lol.

Samsung did it first. :-P

I have that feature and other similar features on my Samsung phone disabled. It just creeps me out too much. Plus, I am sure it uses some battery life and processing power for something I can do without.

lol I can see how one can be creeped out by it. I am just all for tech. Let it move us forward. Even AI I think is worth developing and investing into. Obviously with certain safeguards.

Has anyone here updated to the newest IOS on an Iphone 7?  

Been using it since it was released on the iPhone 7. I haven’t had any issues with 11.2.2 as of yet. There was a bunch of small issues, but they have been mostly resolved now.
