Seeing if I can embed this for you.

*edit* yes! It worked. If you share the youtu.be link and place it in [ tube]linkhere[ /tube] (no spaces in the brackets) it will embed :-)

The tradition YouTube.com link will not embed.. it has to be the youtu.be link

No thanks because after that you still won't be satisfied and would want prime 95 or some other CPU destroying bench .
I've shown enough and I'm out of here.
Remember, every test is at ambient which I think is amazing
You got someone else, same chip that can do the same?

As well as the CPU @ 5.6 , the RAM timings are pretty good.
    That's a 1080ti BTW.

Was not looking for competition, just posting some comparison.

Of course my 2080 cannot compete with your 2080Ti in Superposition.

Your KS does score higher in single core on UserBenchmark. Might I suggest posting the link, rather than a screenshot?

Anyway, how about Cinebench R20? https://ibb.co/W3z92fP

I have to apologize, my previous UserBenchmark was not 5500MHz, it was 5400MHz.

    Thanks, yours as well.

Alright, it gets hung at the 64Core benchmark.

Seems 5500+MHz is the limit, for this benchmark anyway, without special cooling.

I am not at all disappointed with this CPU, when I have read several times on various forums of people saying they cannot do much over 5200MHz with their 9900K. I believe for a $480 random CPU purchased off Amazon, I am quite fortunate. I have managed to boot into Windows over 5700MHz.

    Your turn.

    I've done 5.7 as well .
These are the best gaming cpu's you can buy , period .
I'll try 5.6 on that bench later but it will probably throttle it's tits off and crash .

Bought some cheapo HyperX 2666 Ram and wanted to see how it would OC on my new board .
    So far so good .
Took speed from 2666 to 3600
    Latency from 16 to 13
Shaved a bit off the cycle time
Not bad for RAM costing $130 Australian.

Um? So you claim 5.6Ghz stability by posting a video of you running a benchmark that stresses your GPU? Then you post a screen shot of you running at 5Ghz for HVEC decode? You might be fooling the lesser experienced users here but I think you know as well as I do that your CPU isn't 5.6Ghz stable in any real CPU stressing test. I can go pop my 9980 XE in and run a few quick (non CPU intensive) benchmarks at 5.2Ghz on an 18 core CPU and claim "look at me I got a 5.2Ghz 18 core CPU stable! I'm the best, no one knows how to overclock as good as me!" Your refusal to do any real CPU stress testing is all the validation I need to know your CPU isn't really stable. And well lets just say that if you think 1.5v vcore into a 9900KS is sustainable well....lol you have much to learn, that CPU will be dead in less than a year.

We both know your CPU would crash under Prime 95 small FFT or even a Cinebench R20 run. Sure it's fun to post and brag that you have a 5.6Ghz "capable" CPU but I think all the experienced overclockers know what's going on here.

I know this makes you uncomfortable being exposed by someone who actually knows what they are doing. But accusing me of stalking you when you decided to post this on a public forum of your own free will, is not only foolish but also wrong. I made one post in here. As a seasoned overclocker for years and years who has used everything from old school phase change to Ln2, naturally a claim of 5.6Ghz on a 9900KS caught my eye. I'm actually disappointed yours isn't legit and stable as it would be one of, if not the best results for standard water cooling on this CPU.

Do you really want me to stick around and pick this thread apart more? You know how you get that to happen? Keep insulting me, that's how. We're on lock down here, I have nowhere to go and nothing better to do. Do you really wanna play this game?

If not keep your insults to yourself and have fun, I don't really care. Good day

if it makes you happy , pick it apart .
While you are there , also pick the RAM OC apart as well .
I never said I was an expert OC like you . I am doing this just for fun and not to win any shiny medals.
I am sorry you are on lock down so if it passes the time and makes you happy , go for it

A group of us already had this discussion in another thread. Good luck, but I think your argument will fall on deaf ears.
He's one of those 'It's x.x stable for what I want to do at this moment.' kind of people. The funny thing is that this argument started in one of those 'Post your 24/7 stable clocks' threads; where his overclock was obviously not stable for anything but certain loads, but he claimed that he just never used those types of loads and was therefore still 24/7 stable. I think this computer is just used for 3/7 benchmarking, and 21/7 powered off. I respect the philosophy of not worrying too much about stability when focusing on making benchmark points, but I agree with you that I think he has been purposely misleading and boastful about it in multiple threads.
In one sense, what good is a benchmark if all of your comparison data is from rigs which are barely operating? Transparency is necessary.

I guess I missed his first go round then. Well if he wants to run 1.5v into his 9900KS to run some super sketchy "benchmarks" for a forum audience, he bought it, let him kill it. I guess that's where this thread came from as his vindication or proof that his claim was for real? He's proud of his system, and while nothing inherently wrong with that, it is something else to make outlandish claims of stability and then deny any validation. Silicon Lottery that bins and tests CPUs and resells them for "guaranteed" overclocking head room found that just 3% of all 9900KS could run 5.2Ghz stable within a safe voltage of 1.35v. That CPU sold for $1199. Does that mean there are none that can run higher? No of course not, but 5.6Ghz stable is basically ridiculous. If it was true I know some people with very deep pockets that would be willing to pay a king's ransom for such a CPU.

It didn't take much for me to see that his CPU was just being run on the ragged edge while pumping massive voltage into it that isn't sustainable in the name of "forum gloating". I hope for his sake he isn't running that kind of voltage into it and playing games or even trying to as that CPU will be dead in less than a year being run like that. But whatever blows his hair back I guess.
