Just flew home from work and this was waiting for me .
Can't remember ordering the aio but the boards and extra chip will come in handy for something.
Hopefully its higher SP than the other 2.

I assume you could now build two more APEX XII OC rigs or possibly another gaming rig using the new AIO.

Very nice. If you happen across an extra RTX 2080ti you'd like to donate, keep me in mind.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Whats happening over in the states regarding this chip , availability and price ?
I thought most of you would have jumped on the 10th gen .
A bit disappointed not more of you are using it by now .
Paired with an Apex , killer .
Its an excellent platform .

Most people are jumping onto the AMD train now. YouTube/Content creators have swayed most people towards AMD because all they ever talk about is the data transfer rates in non-gaming situations which is silly cause most people watching their content are not content creators looking for faster load times from the hard drive.

The cost of that CPU is more than I want to spend, tho it looks nice (note: I was seeing over 800 bucks and I'm not sure what MSRP is on them)

MSRP was supposed to be $499 but when it hit the stores, they were priced at $599. You can get one for $529 through Best Buy right now. The best deal right now is probably the i7 10700K for $350 at microcenter... I want to say i'm surprised they didn't sell out... but after watching a year or so worth of smearing Intel, i'm not surprised everyone is jumping ship and going to AMD even though it's the better option for gaming.

529 is far more palatable to me....however, I'm not sure my performance (games, really) will increase that much if I 'upgrade'....likely gonna wait til the 3000 series of RTX is out and then think about the new Ryzen or the 10900k....

Not building any more gaming rigs .
Tight arses over here just won't even pay less than cost price .
Sparetime was right .
The cpu's are $1000 AUD over here .
Everybody on our forum that OC is getting the Apex.
It is the card to get if you are using a 10900k (I would like to try a Z490 Dark if it ever comes out ?)
Ive seen some amazing RAM scores with it as well as pushing the CPU to the limits.
The IMC is excellent as well. Best ive seen and thats what most people over here find as well.

As somebody that has both the performance difference is negligible at best but I only have 1080 Tis so maybe it would be bigger with a 2080 Ti I cannot say.

I went from a i9 9900KS to a 10900K and I used the RTX 2080Ti on both set-ups... The difference was maybe 5-10% faster because the new boost can get the processor to 5.3GHz. The 9900KS would just sit at 5.0GHz all the time. If I compared the two where the i9 9900KS was at 5.2GHz, I probably wouldn't notice a difference between the two but I definitely got a nice bump on my benchmark scores.
Best Score with a 9900KS:

Hey guys , I've fitted the Tek 9 to the kingpin but the T-rex with heater looks a bit trickier.
Does anyone know of a guide kicking around regarding installation of this CPU kit ?

Great guides for first time users, it really comes down to personal preference though when insulating your hardware. I don't use any flat foam on the motherboard when I bench just shop towel, and I use LET on mainboards, but vas on VGA. Just remember, any information given is "educational" and all risks to your hardware is at your own discretion.

My first go at DICE .
Made a few school boy errors like running out of DICE , not feeding the beast fast enough and trying to set up my system before benching
it will get better next time because , after all , this was my first go .
A few of my chilling porno pics .

Tried the trex and the heater went up in smoke .
I thought the thermostat would cut it out ?

Never had a problem with my Inferno, and haven't heard of any one's burning out like that before. Many long hours at full pot and still strong.

Did the heater element in the heater get wet maybe?

Hmm maybe TiN can chime in. Luckily nothing happened though.

Like I said, first I've seen an Inferno burn out like that.

Just be nice to get one that works .
Id like to keep the pot and just get a replacement heater if its possible .
I like kingpin stuff .
Ive bought 3 KPE cards , a tek 9 and T rex with heater .
Loyality must count for something ?

I was hoping someone would get back to me regarding the heater catastrophic failure .
Ill leave it a bit and then nothing else to do but post my experience with it and pictures on all my OC forums and HWBOT ( im a member of warp 9).
Dissappointed this being a Kingpin (Evga) product .

Can't you buy just the inferno heating element @spit?

Kingpin and EVGA work together in many situations, but this one would be on Kingpin Cooling which is separate from EVGA.
