System Restore can be your friend when all else fails.

Restore back to when you installed GeForce Experience to undo it.

well I have tried the  audio drivers already but thx .
I did try two System Restore at lunch and have no point that would do it . but thx for suggestion.
so its like the mb drivers cant control win10 settings I just don't know if I figure it out will let you know.

I did see that one of the audio devices had Microsoft drivers and the other had Creative so I may go that direction .
but no Microsoft drivers in the list two uninstall ?
    updates are disabled .

Reinstall your audio drivers, and audio software after using ddu to remove them.

so i installed all gpu and audio drivers and px1 with ddu for the 3 time
clean installed gpu and audio driver again no help i did not put NVIDIA audo driver in .
so i found that my MONITOR was running on the hdmi audio in the gpu control panel so i said
i found it disabled it and reboot and it re enabled it on reboot .
i was using a dvi cable before my monitor has no option two change hdmi two 3.5mm audio input it has both.
if   it would stay changed in nvidia control panel it might work properly idk .
i guess it wasn't   GeForce Experience.
maybe the chip set audio drivers need two be updated .[i have the ones from evga website downloaded today ]

Did switching away from HDMI audio out to the monitor fix the issue? It seems like from the last post that might have been the problem.

I can turn it off  in nvidia control panel  you have two reboot for the chipset two detect it and nvidia control panel turns it back on
every reboot for some unknown reason .[I did hit apply]
    and no not fixed.

lol - That's unfortunate it came down to that. Literally had to remove the audio function so it won't take over. I've had Nvidia drivers mess with me like this a few times... A long while ago a driver update had some weird ethernet driver tossed into it. I had to install a separate network card to get my internet back.

I used to have this issue too when I was using an HDMI cable. I downloaded this program called Soundswitch to help cycle through devices via hotkey instead.
