My 1070 I got in 2-17 and it's been doing this thing that if i use precision just to run at 1800 rmp. Only after about two to three hours it ramps up to full speed monitor goes blank system locks. Any thoughts before I go through an RMA and I really don't want to do that!!! 

Asus ROG Strix B550-F gaming
Ryzen7 5800x
Corsair Dominator Platinum 32 Gig 3600
Samsung 1T 980 PRO PCIe 4.0
Samsung 500Gig 970 Evo PCIe 3.0

    So if you completely uninstall precision, and install/use msi afterburner to set the fan to 1800 rpm everything runs fine?

    Yes installed afterburner....same, so I deleted afterburner and just running with no software...

    Hello

    When you uninstalled PXOC did you also delete the folder under Program Files x86? 
     
    This is a strange one and we would request testing that unit in another system with the software and see if you can trigger it on another PC

    Yes I took out everything with POXC  in the x86 ,  put in another system and in time it did it again

    Definitely time to rma the card if the issue occurred while testing the card in another pc.
