have some issues, questions with my setup.

current setup:

case: define nano S. added 1 more front 140mm intake fan. so currently has 2 x 140mm front intake and 1 120mm rear exhaust.
GPU: evga 980 ti sc+ acx 2.0
Bracket: nzxt g10
Cooler: corsair H75, or nzxt x61

previously had a gtx 970 G1 with stock cooler. temps never went above 75 running benchmarks, usually around 70-72 in games. Then swapped to a gtx 1060 windforce, again temps were cool hovering around 70~74. Very acceptable GPU temps in my book.
Now, the evga gtx 980 ti with stock cooler was hitting 85~90 degrees in benchmarks and 82~84 while playing games. And i'm playing overwatch, a joke of a game in terms of graphic power needed.

so i decided to do a AIO on it since hybrid kit does not fit my non-reference card.

now with g10 + h75 as a exhaust in the rear of the case, i'm constantly hitting 80 degrees. what in the heck?

Granted the define nano S has average to poor airflow, but still.......going over 80 with a AIO?

i'm currently using a 20x20 1.2mm thick copper shim with noctua nh-t1 applied both ways. without copper shim the h75 wasn't making solid contact with the GPU, so i was getting black screen.

are the temps normal for a mini itx case + aio?

i do have a spare x61 which has a 240mm radiator. but i wonder if it makes sense to install the x61 as a front intake for the GPU.

the h75 is running perfectly fine, i feel the pump running, the liquid flowing. The radiator is very hot to the touch however.

Anyone else has done a G10 + gtx 980 ti?

Can anyone chime in?

    I've used the G10 with a 980 Ti Classified, 980 Ti G1 Gaming, a 1080 ACX 3.0, and now a 1080 Ti FE.

The copper shim added 3 to 5C in temperature for my setup, so I removed the mid and back plates so I wouldn't have to use the shim. One could just remove the mid plate and get longer screws for the G10 bracket while keeping the back plate on.

Airflow actually does make a difference for AIO coolers. I have a very large case with three 200mm fans on the side. I forgot to turn them on and the GPU temps rose 10C hotter than what I usually see.

If you can set it to intake instead of exhaust you should see another fairly good drop in temps.
