Anything over 27" is easier on your eyes when curved. Otherwise you're refocusing when you look from the center of the screen to the edge

Curved only for monitors larger than 27 inch. Anything smaller curved feels weird unless it’s dual monitor or tri monitor setup.

Seems like curved would be great for sim type games, like flight sims or space combat sims.

Aggressive curves like the Samsung g7 just ain’t it. A slight curve could be fun though.

I agree with curved, especially at 38" like I'm running. It's much more comfortable across just about everything. The really steep curve of the Samsung's I would have to sit with for a week or two tp decide cause its curve is really extreme, but maybe not all that far from a triple monitor wrap around in the end so it might be ok. I'll never go back to non curved at this point though.

To me curved is strange, but I dont generally like anything too big or odd shaped, I have a preference for 24" and am very happy with the IIYAMA monitors. Depends which way you want to go, if possible see if you can spend a couple of hours on a curved setup to see your comfort level before committing.

i got a 24in, 1080p, ips with 1ms delay, and 144hz. It'll be solid for most scenarios. I was considering curved, but it was expensive. Wouldve needed to be 27in+ with at 1440p, still 1ms delay at 144hz.

Anything under 27" shouldn't really exceed 1440p. I have 3x 27" 4K monitors. They're nearly unreadable at native resolution without magnification. Anything under 30" shouldn't be curved. As for "way too expensive". That's a qualitative argument. There's lots of decent options still in the 120hz monitor range.

Well yeah, too expensive for me personally. Other people have different preferences and spend money in accordance with those preferences. I just hope that 360hz 1080p monitors fall heavily in price as more monitors enter the market.

I was kind of disappointed that one of the monitors (of good quality otherwise) that was on sale for Prime Day ended up having a strong curve, much prefer the flat ones myself.
