My only complaint about my 32 inch curved monitor is that it makes having a second monitor rather impractical due to desk space.

Balance the price increase of having curve against the base specs you are really wanting in your monitor. That and desk space management are the two biggies

I haven't looked in a while, with all other aspects being apples to apples, is curved really a noticeable cost difference? For me it came down to, I want a super wide, and edge to edge is a long distance - it just makes more sense to have it wrapped around your field of vision a bit.

You forget it's curved pretty quickly, but it always looks wider than it is.

All my monitors are 27 inch. I'd never go curved under 32 inches it's just not gonna gain you anything. I have tried out my friend's 32 curved and liked it but was almost no use for it

I have a 27" 144 Hz flat that is only 1080. If I land a new GPU, I am thinking about upgrading to a curved 27" 1440. Always great to read different people's experience. With current pandemic lockdowns where I live, it isn't easy to go "test drive" ones in stores.

Its big enough to split the screen but I would much rather have a second monitor to drag work to the side and off my main screen

I have the Samsung Odyssey G7 27inch and I love it. I love the curve on it but I also don't move it much and always sit centered. I'd recommend a flat screen if you aren't always centered to it

I have the same G7. Loving the curve the more I use the monitor. Had no clue how to adjust the height at first, but I quickly found the answer as others also had ran into the same issue online. Bought it straight from Samsung with a nice discount!

I am looking at options as well. I was thinking about getting a C1 but some websites state the CX is still better for true black. The new G9 with mini oled is suppose to release soon as well with only a $75 increase on price which is suppose to have fixed alot of previous model issues. So currently I am looking at LG & Samsung products, any other recommendations?

Ultrawide is great, its like a dual monitor setup having curved. I love it - and I am enrolled in school. So I can have assignments or work and a browser up simultaneously. It makes multitasking a lot easier!

Do you do any graphic design work 2D, 3D, etc? If so do you feel the curve messes you up any?

Not much in the graphic design department, occasionally for my youtube channel i'll put together a small graphic or design. But more likely I'd be doing blueprints or drawings for work around my home. To be honest, I haven't felt or seen anything impactful from that perspective - the curvature is minimal, and never seems to have a major impact on the outcome.

I have one normal and one curved monitor. I wouldn't go for the curved monitor again. It looks kinda gimicky and you can't setup it vertical, it looks really bad. Unless you going for ultra wide.

Yes I should have also emphasized in my previous post. I use an Ultrawide and would only ever buy a large ultrawide, with at least 21:9 ratio. Otherwise you would see some serious weirdness - normal aspect ratio stretching across a curved monitor is certainly a no go.

I use a curved monitor, i got it for a good deal (50% off) and i wasnt sure about curved before i bought it. I like it now, if i would ever buy a va/mva screen or something else with bad viewing angles i would always go for corved
