Is the display going to be used only for gaming or do you watch movies or write documents or edit pictures?

Flat screens do have some advantages for non gaming and instead more of office and streaming use.

Honestly keep what you have or get an ASUS Rog Swift PG35VQ or the Acer Predator X35 only difference on the acer is the ppi is 106 I do believe and the ASUS with the more premium panel from the same company is 109. I could be wrong and its the same but that is what I noticed.
The PG35VQ you will not find brand new. This is due to it not being popular due to its crazy launch and EOL MSRP. It really is an amazing panel. You may be able to find one for 700-1000 usd on ebay and maybe amazon if you are lucky.

The Acer Predator x35 uses the same panel but do not believe it is as cherry picked or calibrated like asus does to theirs. Those are disappearing fast between the 4090 TI being cancelled, the 4080/4090 production being halted with a lot of hold outs finally buying a 4090 a lot are going after those displays because you get an amazing picture, vibrant colors, HDR1000 with its FALD, and you really do not have to worry about burnin like on OLED.

I am using the ASUS Rog Swift PG35VQ, my 4090 pushes it perfectly 70-200+ fps in any game with the visual settings set to the absolute max and the new visual technologies and their assistant techs set to the absolute max.

Good luck in your search if you decide to go after any of those displays. If you cannot justify the cost I will say they are worth it or if you want something bigger for your money the Samsung G9 Neo a really nice IPS. Seeing you have a 3090 you may have to turn down some settings but with its vram and everything as long as you do not go crazy on the ray tracing it will more than handle anything you throw at it on any three of the displays I mentioned.

I'm still looking for a new monitor. I use it for gaming, text/excel, photoshop, 3D rendering, and watching videos. Seems hard to find something that handles everything well. Looking specifically for 27" flat screen 1440p and min 144Hz specs because of varied usage and desk space restrictions.

Considered the ASUS PG27AQDM (OLED) or the LG Ultragear (OLED), but the burn in issue is concerning. Another one under consideration is the Alienware AW2723DF.

I'm looking at these two for a while, they seem great for a big variety of tasks:
    ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQN
    AOC Agon AG274QG
    Both are 27", 1440p and non-OLED.

EVGA X570 DARK (1.09) [manual SoC, AUTO high!]
AMD Ryzen 5800X3D [CO -25 ALL Core STABLE]
    GSKILL Royal Elite (Gold) 3600C14 (B-die) [F4-3600C14D-32GTEGA]

Also look for sales and discounts. Personally I prefer 3440 x 1440 for both business and gaming.

Good advice I probably would have stayed on his current monitor. My current is a curved but I do notice that sometime straight lines do looks to have a curve to them on it. I do like my monitor and in my case it was a nice upgrade from what I had been using but in this instance it looked like he had a pretty good monitor to start.

I can vouch for this one: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/alienware-38-curved-gaming-monitor-aw3821dw/apd/210-axvg/monitors-monitor-accessories  Its a LG panel, gsync ultimate, 4k, 144, ips, and curved but the curve isnt so much that it distorts stuff. I wont touch Samsung tv's, monitors, cellphones, washers or fridges so my choices were a bit limited and DEF will not go OLED until they release a proper version that you dont have to RMA all the time or they surpass the tech with something better.

I guess this was a pointless thread since you made up your mind before you asked the question, and everyone provided their opinion after you already stated that you made up your mind.
