money isnt a crazy worry for me because i prepped for this, i am leaving a EVGA GTX 960 SSC 4GB , it was giving me issues so EVGA is sending me a new one which i will sell or give away, i am currently working with a i5 6600k, GTX 960 SSC 4gb, multiple SSD, 16 GB ram, closed loop Corsair liquid cooling cpu, Phanteks Enthoo giant tower with 5 fans and a KS8000 as my main Screen with an LG 29 inch wide screen as my secondary screen for watching sports as i game or do music, which GPU should i get for this situation between gts 1050 to TITAN. i kinda belive 1070 fits my situation but the 1080 Ti is calling me even tho its might be over kill. and i dont wanna spend money on a GPU i will never push to its limits

Welcome to the forums! A 1080 Ti for your 4K KS8000 (great choice btw) isn't overkill. It's actually still under-powered for many new games at 4K without turning down lots of settings (Ghost Recon Wildlands, looking at you!). Obviously not so for all games at 4K, just the graphics intensive ones. In the end it is all up to you as the games that you play and the resolution that you choose and the settings that you want dictate what card is best.

Welcome if money isn't a crazy worry, get yourself a 1080ti and a 4k 1ms monitor(g-sync) and stop using a telly with an input lag of 20ms+ you'll not look back fair lifts the game TVs are for watching TV not gaming on, if your going to be using a TV then the 1080Ti is just overkill IMHO but i will add with the 1080Ti you are future proofing yourself

+1 on this man. 1080Ti with 4K monitor with 1ms and G-sync. In a distant future, I want to upgrade to a 4k monitor with 100hz / 1ms / g-sync.

I googled "KS8000" and I found a 4K Samsung TV with a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz. For 4K resolution @60fps you want a 1080Ti. If you really really really want the very best you can go for the Titan, but you will pay much more money for not much of an improvement. I would go for the Ti. Note: 1080 (not Ti) will not give you 4K @60fps stable with newest AAA games at Ultra quality.

For 1440p or 4K I would get the 1080Ti. It can handle almost any game at ultra settings and at those resolutions/FPS. I wouldn't use it on a TV though. They have insane input lag and lack of G-Sync will either cause screen tearing or run at 30FPS when thing get hairy. PietroBR

I'm not a big fan of using 4K on a TN panel. If I'm going for image quality, such as 4K, then I would prefer to keep going and get an IPS panel. The extra 3ms delay won't bother me and the image looks so fantastic will all those colours, even from any angle. I suppose in the distant future 4K will be standard and getting a high FPS would take priority over image quality. Should I go 4K@240Hz or 8K @ 120Hz lol

They did show off an 8K TV already at CES so it will not be that long before people are talking about them coming out. I think what was shown was just a proof of concept and not really a product they planned to bring out yet. I would wonder what screen size you would really need to notice much difference between the two sizes from across a room.

Dell already has an 8K monitor. Its an IPS panel with a 6ms response time. Not bad at all. Shame the price isn't that low. If I start saving now I might just be able to buy it when the 2080Ti comes out, maybe even the 2080Ti K|NGP|N. Nah forget it. It's only a measly 60Hz panel! http://www.dell.com/en-us...r-up3218k/apd/210-alez
