Until a card officially releases, EVGA doesn't talk about it.

Thanks. It's been all 30 series cards for so long that I forgot there was a 20 series forum. Sorry for the rogue post. :)

Wonder why no communication from anyone on this, Nvidia for sure is launching the card today, so where is it EVGA?

What you are seeing are a lot of placeholders for retailers.  Do not forget that with NVIDIA, launch date is one thing and the release date (when AIBs can sell) happens later.  How much later is up to NVIDIA.  It has been three days to three weeks sometimes.

Apparently these cards have a high hash rate with no limiters from what I've seen online.

Better be ready at drop if you hope to snag one. These are gonna be botted and scalped heavily.

Lets not regurgitate garbage please. There is nothing special about it. It has a 192 bit memory bus (same as 6GB 2060), it was benchmarked at 31 MH/s exactly the same as any other RTX 2060/1660 Ti/1660 Super. Why do people keep saying these are special for mining? They aren't. lol guys.....

Because aside from some FE's and 3090's, these would be the only non-LHR cards currently being manufactured.  Sure it's the same hash rate as the previous 2060 but those aren't being made or sold at MSRP anymore, you can only find them on Ebay marked up appropriately.

If the new 2060 drops at under $300 it would be a better mining value than any other LHR 30-series card.  So yeah, it's special in the same way the current non-LHR / FE cards are special.  It would be the most in-demand AIB card.  Side note, if you get one from EVGA, you can enter the step-up queue and get a 30-series card within a month or two.

I talked to someone recently who said his step-up queue was 1 week.  It was the 3060 or 3070, I forget.

Jacob just said on stream that EVGA will be making a 2060 12GB but it will not be sold on EVGA.com or through the queue. He said it will be sold through partners only, I don't know if that means in only pre-builts or at retailers as well.

They will be sold through system integrators and our authorized distributors.  Way down the road it's always possible that it may end up on EVGA.com or other channel partners, but that's not currently the plan.

I mean he's not wrong, the fact is the RTX-3050 regardless is going to be botted and scalped just like literally every other card. It's an inevitability and in today's market with the Chip Shortage, Cryptocurrency booming, and scalpers becoming greedier than ever, I'd not even blink an eye if the entirety of Nvidia's & all the AIBs stock is gone by the time you just refresh the page on launch day.

Way too much demand, way too little supply. This likely won't change for a very long time, so better strap in!

The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.
