Proud and happy owner of a 2080-Ti XC Ultra Gaming, i just put my GPU on sale while expecting Nvidia new GPUs to release in 10 days.
Wondering if EVGA will have cards available on release early september.

Doubt it , since they haven't even been officially announced as existing by Nvidia themselves yet. I hope they do, but I hear the aftermarket sellers haven't even gotten a good look at them yet ...

Hope EVGA already have their hands on it if it's supposed to release next month !
Last release there were no EVGA availability in France at least the first month and a half, had to settle for another brand that i ended up returning by the time EVGA was available.

NVIDIA only got RAA cert on the reference so far. This would indicate an intentional staggered delay between the release of reference and partner cards...
Would not be surprised if EVGA is one of the slowest partners to bring ampere products into the supply chain, without TIN what does an Ampere KPE/ Classified even look like?
Who else at EVGA is going to Zombie reference ampere to figure out the KPE power plant? Vince?

The last launches have been nVidia FE first for a bit, then AIB models launch. I'm assuming that this will follow that trend as nVidia likes to get the most $$ and that system does that for them.
I'm excited for the new cards, I think it'll make high refresh 4k an actual thing.

I think a year is dangerously close to release of Ampere refresh and possibly a RDNA2 refresh? But is probably realistic.

With the absence of TiN, I would expect a Kingpin version of the card to be released on the slow side... or EVGA could release something wildly tame, run the Kingpin name into the ground, and rush it out quickly.

Doesn't matter if it's a hard launch or not. Due to a myriad of reasons the interest in Ampere is so high that the demand is going to oustrip supply. "Availability" at launch prices may take a few months, doubly so if Jensen prices them ballpark competitively to AMD instead of asking for the moon.

A few months? Wow I thought the rumors pointed to AIB partners launching along side the FE models on Sept 1st. I've been with evga for over 10 years and would hate to leave them to buy an FE but I'll be waiting with my wallet on the 1st. Don't care how obnoxious the 3090 is, been waiting to upgrade my 1080ti ftw3 for a long time.

Don't care how obnoxious the 3090 is, been waiting to upgrade my 1080ti ftw3 for a long time.
With the 2080Ti we saw the FE launch first with orders taking about two weeks to process. For the non FE it took about 3 weeks to a month for them to start coming out but they sold out super fast. It wasn't until about the fallowing spring people could really find a 2080Ti to be in stock longer then a few minutes.

I’m hoping EVGA has included an AIO Hybrid 3090/3080Ti in their first round of launch models. Sold my 2080 Ti in early July and have been “slumming it” with a used AMD RX 570.

What Hoggle said. Grant I don't have a crystal ball, but I'm fairly confident that demand will keep buying out stock for a few months... people will probably find the 3000's, but they will have to really be trying. If/when those stimulus checks are authorized there will undoubtedly be an extra surge in people trying to buy them, too.

I'm hoping to get whatever reference design 3090 EVGA will sell and just put a full EK waterblock on it.
I am not sure if there are any differences between founder editions shipped directly from nVidia and those shipped from 3rd party vendors?
Is my current EVGA 1080Ti FE different than the one I would have gotten from a direct nVidia pre-order?

I suspect like every other release, you won't see any readily available for months, because all the scalpers buy them and try to sell them at inflated prices (which I won't pay).

Founder Editions are a specific kind of card. It doesn't change based on whom you buy it from, it's going to have the same cooler and clocks. FE's cost more than the regular cards specifically because you're buying a specific spec & cooler. Assuming NVIDIA continues the FE moniker with the 3000's then it won't change.

honestly what I want it a KPE-tier binned silicon on a founders PCB I don't need all the LN2 stuff that the card comes with, just want to have great OC on ambient and be done with it

There are only rumors right now. Nothing is substantiated. Wait a few days and then you will be bombarded with more information than you will know what to do with. There is no reason to settle for rumors this close to the launch presentation.

Sounds about right. The die size of the 3090 is smaller than 2080 Ti but larger than the 2080 and way bigger than the 1080 Ti die. Is possible NVIDIA might keep the old 2000 prices.... but it honestly comes down to how competitive they expect RDNA2 to be in a few months.
