So I recently started having a problem with Metro Exodus. I have 2 gpus in my system. A Titan X and a 2080 Super. The 2080 Super is my primary Card and connected to my main screen with the Titan X connected to a secondary screen. When I launch the game it used the Titan x and passes the video to my main monitor. The game does not have a graphics selection in the options like some games do. So my question is has anyone had this problem? I don't see any way of setting this up in the ini files for it or anything. Thanks in advance for any help you can lend.

Disable the titan x via device manager before playing the game. See what that does for you.

So going into it further. So when I stop using the Titan x as a secondary monitor it causes the game to crash at launch. When I click to go into safe mode for the game it uses the 2080 but stuck in DX11. So I am now using the 2080 as both monitor outputs and still can't launch the game without crashing. As soon as I plug my Titan X into the monitor and just activate it as a display but not even the primary and it will launch without crashing and display on the primary monitor even though it is not plugged into it. All I can say is that this is a very random and frustrating problem that I have never had before.

Edit: I should add this is only with Metro Exodus so far that I have run into.

Only things I could suggest would be to file a bug report with nvidia... https://surveys.nvidia.com/index.jsp?pi=6e7ea6bb4a02641fa8f07694a40f8ac6

I would also file a bug report with metro exodus tech support... https://techsupport.metrothegame.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=9&id=1&artlang=en

So I went ahead and bug reported it to them. Seems my specific issue is DX12 with 20 series cards. If it is loading in DX12 the game will crash upon launching. If I load it in DX11 works perfect. With my Titan X, I can load the game just fine in DX12 or DX11. So very strange issue and I have tried all remedies that I can think of and find online. Thanks for your time. I'll update this post whenever I find a fix or a fix gets pushed out.
