RMA on a step up item, whats the 'invoice' to upload?

So 9 months ago i did a step up on my 2080 to a 2080ti. I uploaded my invoice from the original 2080, paid the diff, etc etc, got my 2080ti. However it just died and so i have to go through the RMA process, and its telling me to upload the invoice. Since it was from a step-up, my assumption is EVGA should just KNOW this info since they were the ones who processed it. ive got all the emails from the 5 steps of the step-up process, and the email when it auto-registered my step-up card....anyone know what i should attach as the invoice form?

    EVGA should have on record about Step Up.  The original invoice and transaction for step up should do it.  As Cool says...contact customer service to double check that...

    If you received a product through Step-Up then you would not need to upload an invoice. We would already have a record that shows it came from Step-Up when we review the RMA.
