Has anyone tried a block of dry ice with a fan blowing cold air into the case ?
Just thinking of ways of getting the GPU and CPU colder .
Already tried the ice trick , portable air con and main air con .

I wouldn't recommend that because of moisture buildup. If you want cooler temps then building a custom water cooling loop is the optimum method.

Liquid metal TIM such as Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut instead of conventional thermal paste.

My results are here in posts 1 and 12, but I delidded my 8700K and replaced the Dow Corning paste that Intel used with it..Having a soldered on IHS like an i9-9900KS has will likely show no really appreciable drop in core temps (5C, maybe) and not really be worth the effort and risk, but putting it between the IHS and the cooler's cold plate should yield some good drops..Same with the GPU.

So if you're using conventional paste, try it if you want to, it's amazing stuff..Just don't use it on aluminum because it will destroy it, and realize it is highly electrically conductive, of course.

    Food for thought.

I'm happy with the ks , can get 5.5 easily at 1.435v
GPU I need to cool .
Don't fancy stripping a $3500 brand new card down.
    Don't fancy using conductive paste.
7th best card and set up in the world remember lol

Check this stuff out, non-toxic, probably pretty safe to dip a radiator in or even run in a cooling system with a chiller.
