evga precision crashes MW2

if I have precision X on, the game crashes upon loading. when I turn it off it runs no problem. this is in CoD MW2 .
was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

    Unfortunately that is typical. Others have mentioned it.
    It's a conflict with the Precision X server app. You can use Precision with the game but you have to quit the server first.
    But then you don't have the OSD.
     
    Solution is to use Afterburner or do what bob16314 suggests in this thread:

    If your not familiar with the setup bob gives you all the instructions you need.
     
    For all my games I now use the RTSS app combined with HWiNFO64. It's highly configurable and I like it better than Afterburner.
    I also have Precision running for my aggressive fan curve.
     
    EDIT: By the way the Precision X server also conflicts with other games too. A while back I couldn't even run 3DMark with that running.
    And in some games the OSD doesn't even show up. Don't use it.
