Hi guys,
I bought a gpu last week during eBay's 15% off sale, where eBay paid the 15% off. I want to step up to the 20 series as soon as that's available.

When I went to the step-up site, it didn't mention coupons or sales and said:
*Please do not include any taxes or shipping that may have been paid at the time of purchase in the Price Paid box shown above. If a rebate was processed then please subtract the rebate amount received from the price shown in the box above.
So where it says "Price Paid for Product*:" do I put the price that I paid to EVGA that they actually received? or that I paid to eBay after the coupon code?
I know discretion is up to EVGA but that's a big difference for me, and honestly EVGA received the full amount of the money for it too.

Thanks guys.

The price you paid is the price before the coupon.  Coupons are your money.

I saw your post Mike and now remember seeing your inquiry at the other site. What is the conclusion as I am in the same situation.

The price you want to use to figure out your "price paid" for Step Up is the amount of money you actually spent minus taxes and shipping.

    Everything is security.

Can you also send me an email to clarify mike's question.  I called evga customer support and was told that the "price I paid is the price before the coupon" and not the price after the coupon.  But I just want to confirm this.  Thanks.

i have the same question. i bought a 1080 from evga_official on ebay, it was listed for 450$ USD.
    I had a 15% off coupon so i paid 383$. For step up do i write 450 or 383?

Hello everyone! There seems to be some confusion over the coupon discount for the Ebay purchases from EVGA_Official. To clarify, the price used towards Step-Up would be the price minus the discount. So for example, if you purchased a graphics card for $400 and there was a 15% discount, the price used would be $340 ($400-$60=$340).

We also will need the Ebay invoice uploaded and you can find instructions on how to do that by following the link here: http://www.evga.com/support/faq/?f=59737

Can you fix my step up application please? I didn't factor in the discount.

Every Step-Up request is manually reviewed by our management team. Once they review your request then the Step-Up would be adjusted accordingly. No need to make any changes as your request has not been reviewed yet.

    Adam,

Is there not a risk of your Step Up application showing the wrong price (not including the 15% discount) and the Step Up being rejected entirely? And then if you happen to be out of the 90 days, you are screwed? Not sure how that whole process works...

If the price shown on the Step-up request is incorrect then one of our supervisors would simply edit the pricing to reflect your invoice. It would not be cancelled for something like that. The only times when a Step-Up request is completely declined is if the product never qualified in the first place, such as if it was purchased second-hand, not from an authorized re-seller, etc.
