I have really old gpu and I am looking for new one from new series, Also looking to experience the 2K and I am not sure if I should buy the 3060ti or 3070

    I use one (3060 ti) in 1440p and in VR . It really depends on the titles your playing on how well the 3060 ti performs in 2k.. Some games run great some games do not. (Star Citizen , Microsoft Flight Simulator  struggle on this gpu in 1440p.) Most esport titles play well in 1440p though.

    I won't be too greedy but I am buying 2K 165Hz monitor so in range between 100 to 165 frames would be awesome

    go with the 3070 if you can find it. the 3060 ti will struggle with newer titles in 1440p.

    comes down to games the 2070 super i had got 120s on warzone in 1440 but ray tracing off

    for general gaming
    3060 is intended for 2k
    3060ti is intended for 2560x1440
    3070 is intended for 3440x1440
    3080 is intended for 4K
     
    for eSports at 2k
    3080ti and a 2k monitor w/ 360hz refresh

    I would buy the 3070 if I could now but our local market prices is CRAZY high so if bought the 3060ti I would buy it by same price as the official 3080 price D: That's why I am wondering if it will do the job done

    Like I said before. 3060 ti - I own one. run it pared with a 5800x @ 4.6ghz. It struggles in newer titles in 2k which IS 1440p. Battlefield 6 I'm in the closed alpha and it's not smooth on this gpu. Cyberpunk also is playable but not consistent and has frame skips. The 3070 rig I have plays these same titles with ease... maxed out / ultra graphic settings and is smooth as butter.
