I have a feeling that it will become busy again next fall. Hot deals are cyclical. I haven't found a hot deal in a while worth posting. I think many don't post hot deals for the same reason. I have a hard time believing that getting rid of massive conglomerates of retailer sticky threads has anything to do with the fact that people aren't finding any hot deals worth posting about.

Ok, so when comments are directed towards others in a derogatory manner, it's a personal attack.  Posts were removed.   Keep on topic and don't attack others.  If you can't dialogue in a respectful way, just don't dialogue.

Your little fit you threw about the Hot Deals section really freaking ruined that section of the forums. EVGA might as well remove it as there are hardly any post there now days.

In case you haven't noticed, forums like these are dying off. People use apps, facebook, reddit, twitter and websites dedicated to posting deals these days. The Hot Deals section wasn't in good shape before the improvements were made. The issue we have is not enough members are willing to post good deals they come across. I would take less active in that section over seeing 5-10 deals posted from the same retailer each day in it. No one should be for turning Hot Deals section into a RSS deals feed for any retailer.
 
 
How is this a bad thing?
  • Being able to see ALL the deals at a glance
  • important information in the thread title
  • We can comment on each deal, long as we stay on topic
  • No sticky threads to dig through to end up seeing deals like this >> "link" << with no other info
