im running a r5 5600x with my new rtx 3090 ftw3 ultra and thinking of going to 5950x and wanting opinions if its woth it and will i see any fps gain.

    You would see some very small gains imo.
     
    Honestly, if it were me, I would probably set that money aside and wait till you can upgrade your mobo and pick up a new R7000 series that is right around the corner from launch.
