Hello all

there are these new white sticks from corsair - https://www.corsair.com/pl/pl/Categories/Products/Memory/DOMINATOR-PLATINUM-RGB/p/CMT32GX4M2K4000C19W#tab-tech-specs

Beautiful and the price is right(as for dominators) and i got the and i was disappointed and i got error after error and bsod after bsod... and could not oc them at all...

and then i saw, they are not compatible with X299 . . .   :(

they only work stable at 2133MHz 15/15/15/36

And the question is - is there any chance for a BIOS with settings that can fix this incompatibility??

Did you attempt to set the timings and voltage manually:

    19-23-23-45
    Voltage: 1.35V
    Maybe try 3000MHZ first

If you have your CPU overclocked bring that down to default speed first. Then try the timings and voltage manually.

Yeah, it's only working at the SPD specs.

Try setting the VCCIO and VSA voltages in the BIOS -> Overclock tab equally to 1.2V to 1.35V..Starting at 1.2V.

Try an XMP Profile in the BIOS -> Memory tab.

Try using a 2N or 3N tCMD (Command Rate) in the BIOS -> Memory tab..Not 1N, at least for now.

Try changing Force Memory Retraining from Disabled to Enabled in the BIOS -> Memory tab.

Did you bought 2 x 32gb RAM Dual?  I think that 2x 4 Dual RAM it will not work.. Need Quad RAM memory...4x4).
Try test run on Two Stick Ram and boot up Dual memory to see if it boot up ok then try add two more RAM...

I would agree that it's best to contact EVGA but keep in mind if Corsair is saying it doesn't work with the X299 then it might be something no manufacturer can solve. Also as others have said manually setting the timings and voltage has the best chance of having stability and then you could see about overclocking manually.

    Hi,

I am sorry the Memory was causing BSOD's.  We cannot guarantee RAM to work if it is not on the supported CPU & Memory list:

I been swimming around these parts for awhile now looking for the very best settings for CPU, and Ram on X299 Dark.
Seems there vids on youtube getting these at 14cl, and 5ghz CPU, but alot of folks here seem to hover near 17. I know
there is some sub timings that will spike this thing in performance, and the timings are set manually according to
    Buildzoid.

FWIW I've had very bad experience trying to use Corsair memory in my X299 Dark. I've switched to G.Skill and not a single problem ever since.

Anyone here know how low i can go with timings, since most vids i seen with these, some got to 14 14 14 28 cas, so what
vcore, and uncore settings did they use?

Aprenelty no ones really knows, I might call Corsair on this, since they have the secret sauce for these modules, and can
make certain timing changes to get the most from this module set.
Back in the DDR2 days, i talked to a corsair guy who gave me some special sub timing settings for Nforce 590, wht
the AMD Phenom i had, and even with 8 gigs of ram at the time was insane, but with the settings, my vista build
    skyrocked  in performance.
This platform can run alot faster with certain memory timings, not your typical cas latencies, but the hidden ones, that
can lower latency but even 20%, and speed up memory intense apps up to 40%.

Thats what i was looking for.  Have the X299 Dark and quad 3600 platium. at cl16, but poor latency.  I even upped the speed to 3933 and was worse.

Sub timings seem to be the big deal, if anyone here has them, please share?
