Make sure your BIOS for your motherboard is up to date running the latest version.

Just because they're new doesn't necessarily mean things are up to date.

okay, i have tried to update the bios i followed the video's instructions and at one point it said to update to the latest, so i clicked the latest, and there were multiple options. it said to click the download that had .EB.EXE at the end, so i clicked that one, downloaded it, and saved it. i ran the file, and it said 'Current BIOS is an unsupported legacy BIOS'

Check and see if you have a on board video card. It could be interfering with it detecting your video card. I have had a few Intel machines that this has happened 2.

I was just looking maybe someone else can help. I like to look at motherboards and stuff on line and notice that the PCI express slot on your board is 2.0 and was looking at the card itself and it said it needed a PCI Express 3.0. Don't mean to interfere Sajin thought maybe this may help.

This shouldn't be a problem, PCI Express 3.0 is backward compatible with 2.0.

If you're having a hard time finding out how to locate your BIOS version this is how you do it... To identify your current BIOS version, check the BIOS version string: - During boot, enter the BIOS setup by pressing F2.
- Check the Main menu.
- The third segment of the BIOS version string (a 4-digit number) is the current BIOS version.
- Press Escape to exit BIOS Setup.
Example of BIOS ID string showing the version number:
