Yesterday an incredible thing happened to me, I changed the optical cable for another one of more quality and broke the plastic of the Toslink port of Nu Audio. Of course it seems incredible to have to send a card to RMA for this reason and I hope they accept it because for me the plastic of the toslink port was defective. See what happens...

Typically they would call that "physical damage", which voids the warranty. Good luck!

    Hello
I imagine that the guarantee is lost, but will they repair it? or they're going to tell me to throw it away and buy another one (that's for sure I'm not going to do it)

    Hi Scaminero,

In most cases, we don't void warranty if the Toslink port cover is broken, as long as that's the only problem. This is usually repairable, so there may be a small service fee for repairing the port cover if you have to send the card in for warranty. Other things, like damage in transit or liquid damage, may still otherwise void the warranty.

    Thanks to both of you
I expected no less from a great brand like EVGA.
Of course it has broken with normal use. I'm 62 years old and I'll have connected that cable hundreds of times and I've never had something like that happen before.
I was worried about the possibility of losing my card with which I am delighted.
