my first run on 3dmark 11 was barely at 13.500 then it locked up on the second run. I guess I am lost on what settings to start with. it's been a long time since I overclocked

    Vcore++ OR Frequency-- until stable.
     
    Watch heat.  If thermal throttle, Vcore-- AND Frequency--.
     
    Test memory.  Memory to 2133Mhz if CPU not responding to Vcore/frequency changes.
     
    If benchmark uses AVX, use offsets.

    Run and Post your 3DMark 11 Performance and Fire Strike and if on Windows 10 run and Post your Links to Time Spy Scores.
    Others only want to see the Extreme Scores but they are not part of the MODS RIGS Scores.

    if someone can post some cheat sheets or screen shots on what I should be doing to overclock this system I would appreciate it, it's been years since I overclocked and everything I tried to do results in a locked machine and having to reboot it

    One item I found was setting AVX2 and AVX3 to 1
    This weekend I will try and upload my Bios Settings on my Photo Site
    I might make one only for the Bios Settings.
