Anybody got an idea what my ppd should be around with a gtx 760. I'm new to folding but I think I might have something going wrong.

I can only seem to get at most around 100k ppd.

Ok just wanted to make sure.  I figured something was wrong because I keep these getting app crashes.
    Faulting application path: C:\ProgramData\FAHClient\cores\cores.foldingathome.org\win\64bit\22-0.0.13\Core_22.fah\FahCore_22.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\ProgramData\FAHClient\cores\cores.foldingathome.org\win\64bit\22-0.0.13\Core_22.fah\OpenMMCUDA.dll

Also my display driver crashes now an then. (latest driver)

I agree with kerryd. That ppd is about right and on a par with my gtx 660ti.

Check this link out. It covers some things with older hardware, from reverting driver to eliminating CUDA tasks which may not run well on older stuff. Something to try anyway.

Crashes imply the hardware isn't stable. You will want to troubleshoot the cause and make sure your system is stable. Too many crashes will cause WU faults and F@H will fail the project and grab a new one. That not only hurts your PPD because you don't get any credit for partial work, but too many returned bad WU's will put your client into a cooldown state. Eventually if you keep returning enough bad WUs you will lose your early return bonus points entirely.

    Have water, will cool.

The only form of "OC" I do with that card is I use Precision to change the cooling policy to be more aggressive with the fans.

I don't want my sole pc to run too hot and burn up before I get an upgrade. I don't OC the Cpu for fear also.

Just out of curiosity. Why is that? Why wouldn't the 760 be just as capable as any other card to be OC'd. They have a "hot" chip or something??

Not really sure why folding don't like OC . But some have to under clock to keep from losing WU's , well some can run a mild OC . I do know its got to be 100% stable well folding .

I have a 760 and thats pretty much the PPD that I got. Not great and not worth the electricity now that I have a 2060.
