Any tips on getting the G.Skill F5-8000J3848H16GX2 stable with the 13700K? I'm struggling with this mem kit. XMP doesn't boot into bios at all. I can only get into bios and windows at 5800 right now.

2.09 BIOS was supposed to help with memory.

Thank you for this information. In your testing with Alderlake what was your best result with Hynix M with all 4 DIMMs populated? If you have not tested this setup are you willing to conduct some testing? I am running a i9-12900K with 4x16 G.Skill XMP CL32 6000mhz F5-6000J3238F16GX2-TZ5RK. I would really appreciate some help in getting as close to 6000mhz as possible. Currently with my limited knowledge of Alderlake and DDR5 I cannot get higher than 5200mhz stable with just XMP timings and voltages. I have seen multiple examples of ASUS boards achieving this with XMP settings on 4 DIMMs  so I know it is possible but may just be a limitation of this EVGA product more than capabilities of the IMC necessarily.

PS. I am not sure of what I did but I did get a successful post at 6000mhz across 4 DIMMs once but was unable to replicate it because after I reset to go back into the bios I ended up in a postcode 54 loop.

With the latest 2.09 BIOS for the classified I have 4 DIMMs running at 6000 with XMP. Bought two of this kit

Hi guys.
I decided not to create a stupid topic, but to ask a question here.
And i need 4 pieces of ddr5 (RGB) for my motherboard (Z690 Classified) and 13600k. The frequency is 6000.
Adata XPG Caster RGB (AX5U6000C4016G-dccargy) will work?
Does anyone know any other options (16x4), which will definitely work at a frequency of 6000?
P.S.
I really like the Corsair Dominator Platinum (CMT32GX5M2X6000C36). But it's surprisingly expensive. I don't even know why it's so expensive.

Thanks for the reply.
I thought about this RAM, but didn't like their appearance. This memory is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom.

Hey there! Thanks for all the settings regarding the max overclock on the z690 with 12th Gen. I noticed you didnt post the max for 13th gen. I have gskill Z5 7600 2 X 16GB A die(got for price of 6400 open box) in a z690 classified with 13900kf. Should I use the settings you listed for the 12th gen with A die? Should I try 7000mhz or just leave it at 6600? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

I’m struggling with my memory kit (4 stick of Gskil 16gb each) running on my Evga z690 Classified

When i install slot 2&4 it runs well with Xmp enable (6000mhz) However when i tried to run 4 sticks at the same time it never get over 2000 mhz. I tried many ways such as turning on Xmp, set gear 4… same result can’t boot in window
Default all setting it boots to window but all 4 stick memory only run at 2000mhz

How can i get it run at 4800 mhz with 4 slot ?

I had 12600KF and memory worked on 6666MHz stable, it was the cheapest kit from newegg Team Group T-Force Delta RGB 2x16Gb DDR5 5600 MHz.
Now for 13700KF I have bought from taobao Hynix 5600MHz 2x16Gb (I don`t know where I can check is it A-die or M-die), but memory not bad - 7400Mhz with 34-44-44-40

Memory under water blocks, by the way.
From my experience - need to turn on extreme voltage and push to memory 1.47V

My friend has the same memory kit, but Kingpin motherboard Z690 also and 13900k and memory works on 8200MHz

it's A-die
7400 is not possible on Z690 Classified, run y-cruncher VST/VT3 and it will fail the test

i have second sample of Z690 classified and G.skill 7800 bin
Will try to OC this weekend, maybe i will make it run 7200 VST/VT3

What should I execute in cruncher?

Don`t understand why cruncher? Do you play cruncher or buy a motherboard for run some self-written tool?
Why not linpack with 20GB task and throw away your PC  because it failed due to temps 🤣

Very helpful test, even mora360 is not enough

Better use Karhu, Blender and play games.

turn on Eco mode in energy plan with 99% of cpu max freq, then run VST
Also, looking like your cpu is overvolted, 350w is too much for 13700k
13600k 170w 1.18v 5.1ghz

I have 1.33V for 5600MHz and turned off all ECO in bios, you are talking about ECO in bios?

By the way, during my experiments ( I changed a few timings) cruncher passed, but Karhu failed in 25 seconds

So mine cpu can do only 7000 VST stable on this board, boot 7200, and 7400 can't boot with any VDDQ/VDD2
on Z690 master 7400
on Z790 extreme 7600

After you mentioned VST test, I have tried and can not pass it, my system works great on 7400 with timings what I showed yesterday, but VST is something heavy.

What do you have in bios? Which voltages I mean.

if VST not stable, then system isn't stable
it will crash in BF2042 easy

Sad news, but overall it is great motherboard, weird that nobody is here except us discussing DDR5 OC  on classified.
By the way, applied your voltages and timings from first page - VST started work and passing...

I know this is an old thread, but I did roll the dice and try a new 7200 48GB kit to try my luck on my z690 classified with 13900k and uhhhh...it didn't go well.

I tried this kit: F5-7200J3646F24GX2-TZ5RK.

It posted every time, but I was going straight into memtest86 and had errors...lots of errors. So it would start throwing errors and I'd go back to BIOS and try to change some things.

I tried...
1. XMP - send it. Posts, but errors in memtest86 (test 1 or 2, didn't go past that)
2. VSA at 1.3 and memory voltage at 1.435. posts, but still errors.
3. I turned on extreme voltage and went to 1.45 and then the system wouldn't even post. No idea what that was about.
4. Set XMP, then dropped to 7000, still errors.
5. Tried 7000 with 1.435V, still errors, but I think it made it past tests 1 and 2 and had tons of errors at test 4.
6. Tried 6933, still errors.
7. Tried 6800, still errors.
8. put it back in the box and returned it. My old ram runs at 6000 with tighter timings and I don't feel like the money was worth it if I'm not getting to at least 6800...so yeah. I'm on this memory until I upgrade my motherboard, which I'm not ready to do. That's at least 1-3 CPU-gen launches away unless I have problems. I knew it was a risk, but I was just sort of hoping I could pull off 7200 on this board.

6Q6CPFHPBPCU691 is a discount code anyone can use.

Max for this board 7000
maybe 7000 with binned board and CPU
I have three pcs of Z690 Dark, one can boot 7800, second 8400, third didn't try yet

In this range works best
vSA 1.15-1.27
CPU TX 1.18-1.28
VDD2  1.30-1.45v
