I have an EVGA CLC360 plugged in to the pump header on the Z590 FTW.
Pump header is set to MAX on Auto to keep the pump at full speed.

Flow Control reports the pump speed a little over 2800 rpm.
But bios shows it a little over 1400.
I've heard that the 2800 is the right max speed for an AIO pump.

Any ideas why the bios shows half speed?
I guess it's nothing to worry about if I always set it to MAX. Just ignore the speed.

What's really weird is that AIDA64 shows both! One is "Water Pump." The other is "Krakan X-1."
I guess EVGA uses the same Asetek pump as Krakan.

not sure why the headers only report 1400rpm but I have to say my EVGA 360 is into the CPU fan header, and reports the same speed of ~1400rpm, flow control also shows 2800-2900 rpm. I wouldn't worry too much, the pump would be spinning at 2800-2900rpm as reported by flow control and not the reported 1400rpm by the bios.

I agree. Since I'm running the pump at max and flow control verifies the speed, nothing to worry about. Strange that the motherboard doesn't show the correct speed.

I was curious at first because the pump is so quiet at max speed. Once replaced the noisy EVGA fans I was shocked at the lack of noise.
