YES... months of problem disconnects >>>never could fix on a Z490....got replaced MOBO via RMA
new board BT great and outstanding range as well... believe INTEL m.2 defective (not a replaceable plugin).

You probably need to do an RMA .... there probably is no fix for a defective BT card ( as I had no resolution except a new motherboard ).

Remember to keep in mind that Bluetooth operates at 2.4GHz, the same frequency as all wireless routers.  I work for a Wireless ISP, and in my world, RF interference is a thing I deal with every day,.  For example, when Im near one of our towers, that's broadcasting 2.4GHz on the AP's, my Bluetooth headset always disconnects....  If you have an Android smartphone, or Tablet, look for a app called "Wifi Analyzer" from Farproc.  It scans and lets you see if there is any channel overlapping, and can suggest a cleaner frequency for your router based on possible interference from other routers nearby you.    You can also just try switching frequency's on your router and see which channel works the best.   2.4GHz is becoming a very dirty frequency these days.   Too many devices broadcasting that frequency which causes the spectrum to become saturated...   By default, most newer routers have the 2.4GHz band using 40MHz channels.  I would change that to 20MHz channels to free up some spectrum a bit, and hopefully your Bluetooth will work better.
    Good Luck!!
