Same here. I have a support ticket in for it. They asked for my Event Viewer log on the issue, but the error is never captured and stored in the log. I am curious, did you first try to install ELEET X1 with another monitoring software running like Open Hardware Monitor, which gave you a ring(0) error? Also did you get a prompt to update firmware on your first successful install? If so, did the firmware update fail? I had these issues while trying to install and run ELEET X1 the first time.

I am working with EVGA to find the issue and am trying to give the most detailed report i can to them. They have been unable to replicate the issue and haven't run into the same issues as us. Unfortunately it been weeks at a time before they reply each time. I am tempted to reformat my SSD and start over.

This is the exact issues im having. They emailed me a version that should have fixed the issue. Now i can't get past the firmware update never fully completing (always fails)
They had me install a special version that debugs them with a file, since event viewer yielded nothing.
Ive uninstalled everything i can. And it's starting to get annoying.

Having the same issue. I assume this is also how you control the RGB on the chipset?

EVGA got back with me after I sent them the exceptions.log file from their debug version of ELEET X1. Turns out the issue is caused by a bad micro controller in the motherboard and issued me a RMA to replace it.

Yes you need ELEET X1 to use the RGB controller on the motherboard as far as I am aware.

I’m not so sure I believe there’s that many brand new boards with a faulty part that prevent the program from working but please keep us updated if the new board works. Are they doing a rapid exchange for you so that you can keep using the mostly working older motherboard until the new one comes in?

Yes, they called me today and informed me of the same thing. So that's unfortunate.

They told me the same thing, so something went amiss somewhere. May only be a handful of boards but they are sending me a Advanced RMA and will hold a charge till they receive my old board once i send in the faulty board.

I just finalized an Advanced RMA today, I'm going to be pissed if it doesn't solve the issue. Please one of you report back as soon as you can so I don't disassemble my custom loop for nothing.

Soon as i get it, ill post back here. Not to happy about tearing down my system either, but not as annoying as a custom loop would be that's for sure.

Just got my new board from an advanced RMA, popped it in and (after switching to UEFI boot) it booted right up. Ran E-LEETX1, it updated firmware successfully and now works. Was able to adjust LED finally!
-NOTE : Be sure to save your BIOS profile for your old board to a USB drive so you can load it on the new board!

Okay, i think I have it solved to some extent.

icue. I uninstalled Icue and i was able to pass the firmware update, and then on reinstall of icue, it broke my LED portion of eleetx, and then on restart it wouldnt open anymore.

I will inform evga of this conflict and hope that they can work around that.

Also this is on my new board, they wanted me RMA aswell.

Memory a bit slow for that system and you should have 2 same m.2 and raid them and you video is card is way out of date.

    Looking forward to your feedback!

Well, after 1 RMA, 5 months of waiting, TWO clean windows installs, i was finally able to get it working after the latest version fixing compatibility with iCue. (That was hard even identifying what was conflicting with eleetx)

What a rollercoaster. Unfortunately not the best support this time around, however; it has been a rough year for everyone, and not like RGB software is a high priority. My only gripe was not being followed up with about anything or the new version for two months.

Thank you EVGA for the help.

    Hi clabrendon.

Can you confirm if this new version is still working for you the following day(s)? After two months of not being able to open ELEET X1 v1.0.3 due to failure of the "Firmware Update," I was finally able to open v1.0.4 the day it was released (I routinely check here for an update). I was excited to finally be able to control the LEDs on my Z490 FTW, mainly have the LEDs turn off with the rest of the system during shut down. However, when I had more time to play with the settings the next day, I was getting the same firmware update failure as v1.0.3 when I tried to open it. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with the code rather than the hardware. Thanks in advance for your response.

It is still working for me when shutting down and starting my computer. You've completely uninstalled eleetx? i also had to run as administrator, and remove both precision X and icue before install. I also did a complete new install of windows, i would always try that as a last resort of course.

Also, calling EVGA and having them walk you through steps if that doesnt solve it could help because there is maybe something im missing, but icue was 100% my issue

Thanks for the response. Yes, I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling Eleetx (both v1.0.3 and v1.0.4) with no luck. I'll try removing Precision X1, maybe NZXT CAM if needed, and will see if that works. Otherwise, I'll go ahead and give EVGA a call. Thanks again.

I'm getting an error Exception: attempted to divide by zero and then the software closes. Sometimes I get a prompt to update the firmware but then I hit start and it also closes...  Frustrating.  I just got it to boot up yesterday and I'm setting Wifi issues (dropping connection, no connection even when connected to wifi, wifi adapter completely disappears and in device manager, it says cannot be started).
