Hello,

I was updating the BIOS via the USB header on the board. I followed the instructions in the manual. The circular 0 appeared to go through the process normally. The board is now showing an ES or E5 on the board LCD display. It is not rebooting by itself as it should. I have not turned it off for a few hours, so I'm not sure what else to do. I'm concerned about BIOS corruption if I do turn it off. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Thank you,

quick update, I turned off the PC with the E5 on the LCD display. It had been running for a full day with no change. Once I turned it back on, the LCD is now showing 00. This is on BIOS 1.
I am able to run on BIOS 2 for now.

I would recommend to use the method where you plug the USB into any USB port and boot to bios, and within bios, select the bios update menu in the gui. The gui provides a status bar of the update so it is easy to track. I personally only opt for the bios usb port and reset button method as a last resort.
