I just got the motherboard and decided to make a test bench for it I've got a 9900k cooled by a h115i platinum. I got the 24 pin and 8 pin cpu connected, I've tried running it with my gpu and the integrated graphics. Tried switching out memory but it will not display anything on my monitor. I get codes 7F 30 00 4C and 80. I've used my new m. 2 nvme drive and a couple sata ssds to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

test with 1 - RAM - check manual for correct placement ease up on the CPU cooler if you bottomed the mounting hardware - ? CPU controls the RAM Is it mounted in the Case ? your Monitor port /input - selected correct one or in "Auto mode" ? Can't enter BIOS screen ?

I've used single channel memory, dual channel. I've mounted it on the case and it did not work either. I'm stuck using a test bench in the meantime. I've used the correct monitor input. I cannot enter the bios because it's not being displayed.

Don't rule out the CPU. We recently had a test system up here that posted similar codes (and often would hang at 7F), where it turned out to be a bad CPU when tested in a couple other motherboards. That doesn't mean it is the CPU, of course, but it is a possibility.

I don't have a keen eye, but I can post a picture of the socket. I'm not too sure how bent pins are supposed to look like so I guess that could help. Also the cpu is brand new from Amazon and I got it yesterday.

Gtx2677 It was connected already
With what Video Cable? Turn you Monitor Off by unplugging it. Wait a Minute and plug in the Monitor Power on your Computer and then turn on your Monitor. D7 can also be caused by the Power Supply. If you really want help what I post in Post #2 was not a joke and is needed to really help you. Or we end up asking this and asking that your list of your hardware will tell us what the issue could be with just knowing your hardware.

Sounds like you are trying to use an OS that was installed on another Motherboard and with a Different Chipset on this New MB. Make and Model/Part Numbers is what we need to help you.

You could also try calling up a jewelry / watch repair place and see if they'll look at it.

A2 is a CMOS Checksum Error. This will occur if the CMOS has been reset or cleared. When receiving A2 code, press F1 to skip BIOS setup or F12 to enter BIOS.

A Bent CPU Socket Pin can cause this.

Your using the CPU's - iGPU to run your monitor ? The GPU is installed, sitting level in the PCIe slot & locked, w/ All PCIe cable connected & You do not see it in BIOS ? Did you check that the PCIe slot is Not Turned Off on the MB ---> check the switch - with power unplugged ---> cycle that switch a few times if it is already On What GPU ? Does it Work in a different PCIe slot ?
