Hot!Z390 FTW PC Randomly Freezes, CATERR Light Turns On When Freezing After Power Surge/Outage

Title basically explains it, had a power outage or surge a couple months ago (happened in the middle of the night so I'm not sure which), but since then it will randomly freeze and the CATERR light will turn on. For whatever reason it's only happened when I'm not stressing the system (mainly web browsing when it occurs). I go and play games or whatever like normal and its like nothing happened. It will also go like 2-3 weeks without it occurring then randomly it'll freeze. 
 
Specs: All has been running fine up until the surge/outage, no overheating...etc
Mobo: Z390 FTW (Latest bios)
CPU: 9900k (stock clocks)
Ram: GSkill Trident Z 32GB
GPU: Asus Tuf 3080 OC w/ 1440P Gsync monitor
PSU: Corsair RM850x
SSD: Samsung 1tb nvme

    CPU, CPU IMC, or RAM issue is your most likely cause. I'd start off by testing the ram. If no errors are found on the ram then I would then disable all power saving states on the cpu, and retest for the issue. If after disabling the power saving states on the cpu doesn't resolve the issue then I would boost the voltages on the cpu vcore/imc to their max safe voltages while staying at stock clocks to see if that makes the issue go away. If raising the voltages on the cpu makes the issue go away then you'll know your cpu is the issue.

    If you don't have luck with what Sajin suggested, try reseating that ram.
    BTW: We have similar systems except I am running 5G on the CPU 24/7 for the last 4 months.
