Hi,
anyone tried to put this motherboard into R6 from Fractal Design? It "supports" E-ATX but regular boards will just block the holes for cable management so I would like to know if this design with part of the board being sort of cut out with the alternate power connector placement solves that issue or not.

I'm not 100% sure, but if the R6 shares a similar layout to the S2, you should be okay. I currently have my Dark in a Define S2, I can take some photos when I'm home tonight.

You will have some issues with not being able to connect Front USB 2.0/3.0 header without an extension cable, and it will also be tricky to connect your front panel audio. I had to remove the rubber grommets to get my 24pin and 2x8pin eps cables through. Also, you'll have to route any needed SATA cables through the psu shroud cut outs and not the ones on the tray (almost completely blocked over the SATA area).

If you mean the new Meshify S2 then yeah. Thats pretty much R6 just with mesh front instead of the opening panel. Hmm so not ideal. Was kind of expecting that. After all, mid towers no matter how big arent really build to house E-ATX comfortably even with a bit different layout like the Dark. Too bad, I really liked the power connectors setup + the look. I am honestly surprised that other manufactures havent adopted this layout yet. At least not in numbers. Way better for cable management than the regular one.

Here are some images of what I had to do to get everything hooked up, probably going to dremel out some new pass throughs once my blocks come in.

I have the dark with a custom water loop in the R6. Works just fine.
