What "EVGA SuperNova G3" Power Supply?
Remove all but one Memory Stick
What is the Model Number of this Memory? "HyperX Predator 4133 17-19-19-28-2T"
Some of HyperX Predator Memory will only run on ASUS Z390 Motherboards.
Slide the Bios Switch to the Other Side and then Back to insure it is set on the Switch.
It could be stuck between the two Bios positions on the Switch

If Kingston Memory only the below are really supported and is also based on the CPU installed.
Kingston HX421C14FBK4/16 4 8 2133 14-14-14-35 1.2V 1+2 1.01

Kingston HX426C15FBK4/32 8 16 2666 15-17-17-35 1.2V 1+2 1.01

Reset the Memory back to Auto and Reset or Clear the CMOS to retrain the CPU and Memory.
But if it was working; then remove and check the CPU and CPU Socket Pins.
What TIM are you using on your "Core i7 8700k Delidded @ 5.0 Ghz "

I would contact support since an RMA might be needed while customer support is open.

After that mostly it would be removing anything from the system that isn't needed for it to boot into windows then hit the clear CMOS button and try to boot. If it doesn't boot try moving the memory into a different slot and hitting the clear CMOS button again. You could also try moving the graphics card to another slot but that is less likely to help.

The other thing to check is that on the backplate that nothing is bent into one of the ports on the back. That mostly happens on new builds but occasionally the first time a port is used can also fold a metal tab into the slot making contact and causing errors.

Thermal grizzly What? LM?
Push and Hold the "BIOS / CMOS Reset" Red Button on the Back on the I/O Shield as you Power On for 5 or 6 Seconds and let go.
Or Pull the CMOS Battery.

Re: Z370 micro stuck on post code 23 please suggestions?! 2019/06/29 01:15:17 (permalink)
To sum up i was tighetening my memory timings, booting into win10, benching and checking stability with most common tools, at some point between a reboot and another i got post code 23. (for these tries cpu was at 4.7 all cores,  memory voltage 1.43, SA and IO 1.15-1.12, i assume i haven't fried anything LoL, i do overclocking etc since 2002).
I switched to the second bios, (never touched it before) booted into win 10, upgraded it with the tool from the desktop.. but something went wrong and when it rebooted i got post code 23 on that too.

From now on update your bios with the files on an USB stick and do it from within the bios options to update - doesnt matter who's board / bios you use things get buggy when updating while in windows

And Before you update with a Bios File Reset the Bios back to the Default Settings.
NEVER update your Bios with Overclocked Settings on any item in the Bios.
Default Settings. You can use that Small Red Button and it will force you to enter the Bios.
Just remember to write down your Settings, while you can Save your Bios Settings to an USB Stick you cannot use it between different Bios Versions.

I have seen this CPU for like $60 Bucks on eBay Used if you need a Test CPU Link
Now I should look at mine to see what it looks like being over a year now.

I am going smarter... :)  bought on amazon, will try and then return.
I have the copper ihs, i can tell you that it suffered from the liquid metal, i can even feel a groove on it, a tenth probably..  but it's a lot for the purpose.. this also explaining why my delidd lost performance even after a reapplied it.
if my 8700 died, well i am very sorry.. was a very lucky cpu.
