Hello

Since a year I have a Z370 classified, it's a great card and I'm happy, my CPU (i7 8086k) has always been OC and stable at 5.2Ghz for 1.35v since I have the card, but since 2 or 3 weeks I have random BSOD.

-I thought about the ram so I tested 2 kits.

-RAM EVGA SSC 3200 Mhz = BSOD

-RAM GSKILL Z TRIDENT 3200 Mhz = BSOD

-I tested the two kits on a friend's PC and 0 BSOD, so it's not the RAM.

-I tested different version of bios = BSOD

-I have reinstalled windows 10 several times with different USB key = BSOD

-No abnormal warning LED is lit on the motherboard.

Do you have an idea where it can come from? would the card be Hs?

The 4 last crashes:

Sounds like you cpu may be degraded. Put the cpu back to stock clocks, and don't run your ram any higher than 2666 MHz with the correct voltages and timings.

The ram just run on XMP, no manual overclock on it and with stock CPU is BSOD too,
I was stressing the CPU all night with OCCT at 5.2 and no crash and did not exceed 67 ° c

Like I said you need to set everything back to stock clocks, and not run your ram any higher than 2666 MHz for testing.

I stress the CPU for 7 hours stock and 7 hours OC has 5.2 Ghz with stock ram on OCCT, i have no crash and no error, I think it's ram ports that are defective, I will try another CPU in the day, I will activate the XMP and see what happens

XMP setting are Not always stable & that is a OC of the RAM

Best Practice is to set your RAM - Timing & Voltage manually

If you still have some issues it is probably the CPU or MB socket Pins.

Have you made any adjustments to your CPU cooler - Or - possibly bumped it ?

The CPU socket pins are sensitive - to the CPU installation & heat sink tightness - too tight or unlevel can cause poor contact / damage to the pins

You need bit push more voltage at 1.365v. 1.35v I have try test on 5.225ghz it crash random and can you please check in  Event Viewer see any this > Event ID 19 WHEA-Logger?

    For better recap:

the CPU was OC since the first day of installation of my build ( 1 year ), I have not touched the parameter recently, everything was stable with safe power supply voltages, the XMP of the ram is not huge, the timings are not tight (3600 Mhz c16) so I do not understand where the problem comes from, especially since RAM and CPU are stable on another card

That is okay it your decision! is your vdroop disable?
Yes it exactly same to my MB was 1.325 at 5.0ghz it crash BSOD after few weeks so I try push up bit more to 1.340 so it stable charm....had test 5.225ghz at 1.340v it crash so test push up to 1.365v it stable.
I test try reach at 5.3ghz voltage at 1.385v but I have not test stress yet need to test first for no BSOD...

The processor worked 7h under OCCT without worries or BSOD If he was the cause he would have bsod seen the long time not?

I have check the windows event and no code 17/18 or 19 but i have 710 events, it's a lot you think  ?

I can try but I'm sure he does not need it, because he is stable on big stress test and loop run cinebench R15 on 2 motherboards
He even made the best score I've ever done for 5.2 x'D

Yes i do this late :)

    UPDATE:
After a week of testing in normal use, I use the stock CPU with the ram stock and no BSOD for 2 days, so I pass the oc on the CPU at 5.2 Ghz and ram stock for 5 days no BSOD, tonight I reactivate the XMP but has 3000 Mhz and not 3200 Mhz as the rams are normally and I'll see what happens
