That price is too high for what you get. Asus has a Z370 G MATX board that is much more feature packed for 5 bucks more.
I'm using the Z370-G from Asus.
Both models, the Z370-G and Z370 Micro have been builded in diferent aspects.
Asus's one have more features, of course.
EVGA's one is more focused in O.C. potential (reason for the 2x DIMM for example).
A few things I would like the EVGA MB would have, that Asus have:
- Dual M.2 onboard;
- Wifi Antenna with some kind of table mount, like Asus;
- Hybrid 4pin PWM headers (PWM/DC header, Dedicated Pump Header, etc..);
Although, EVGA's Z370 Micro have some credit on their own.
- The 90 degree connectors are not only aesthetics, but it's great looking on functionality.
- Extra PCIe power connector;
- Debug Clock;
- Power and Reset button onboard (man, this is one of the best features they could put in a MB);
- 11 phases VRM vs 10 phases VRM on Asus;
There is just so much things to link here, that would take a life to do.
In the end, it will please some consumers, and not others.
I might consider change my actual MB for EVGA's one.
Don't know yet.
