Hello everyone, I recently purchased
EVGA z370 micro -
EVGA CLC 240 AIO
Gskill Ripjaws V 2x8gb ddr 3000 f4-3000C15D-16GVS ( tried one stick at a time)
EVGA 750B3 PSU
samsung 970 evo 250gb boot device
1060 6gb or radeon hd 5450 (tested both of these in here)

So the big thing here is I was trying to use a placeholder CPU just for testing and i grabbed the cheapest 300 series Celeron that i could find the G4920.  Not sure if this is the issue, i know the board does not officially say that it supports this CPU, i currently have a ticket pending with support on this question.

But what is happening is when i boot up I have not been able to see anything it looks like it goes through the initial post but never displays anything, tried both video cards.  it gets to a point where it just beeps 4 times shows d6(which is the error for not being able to find a graphics card) then goes to A0 which i thought was fully loaded.  I have reseated the CPU and looked at the pins and they look normal nothing bent or anything like that.  But after the reseat the same errors. I am at a loss here i may just return the pentium and go with the cheapest i3 (which sucks because its still 120+)

Thanks for any help

Not saying it will not work only that it is not listed as a supported CPU for your Motherboard.

I understand the supported list, not really sure why a CPU designed for the 300 series chipset would not be compatible with a 300 series chipset

    Maybe bent CPU Socket Pins?
A Good Question for EVGA Support, this might be the best place to ask this question about the CPU.

The Micro does not have onboard video ports so i figured 2 different working cards would rule that out as an issue.  The drive is a m.2 NVME drive the only drive in the machine.  CPU socket is fine.  I placed a ticket with EVGA yesterday and asked me to take pictures of the socket so i did that.    Thanks for the help just trying to see if anyone has had this issue at all since there is not much info on this board out in the internet.
