Gonna be building my 20th computer before end of the year, built on the Z370 Classified K motherboard which I already purchased. Typically used for 4K gaming, photo editing & occasional 1080p / 4K video editing.

Additional Components:
CPU:   i7-8700K with Hyper 212 EVO cooler (not overclocking at least not to begin with...)
GPU:   EVGA GTX 970 FTW – watercooled with NZXT Kraken X60 + G10 (already have - typically run this card at 1424 – 1458MHz boost clock for Folding at Home)
RAM:   G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-2800C15D-16GVR
PSU:   EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2 80+ Platinum (already have)
Case:  Corsair Air-540 (already have)
OS/boot Drive:  Samsung 970 Pro 512GB M.2 NVMe
Storage Drive:  WD RED 2TB (already have)
OS:  Windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit (I have 1 more unused COA out of a 3 pack)
Optical: LG 14x Blu-Ray Burner SATA (already have)

Wondering if anyone here is running similar in Windows 7, especially from M.2 SSD ??? Will be installing from USB drive.

Aside from the Intel UHD 630 Graphics processor not having Windows 7 support, any real problems to worry about, especially driver wise???

Rebuild 2.0 Specs:  Phantek's Enthoo Pro Full Tower case * Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4 motherboard * Intel i9-13900KS CPU with Kraken X63 AIO * WIN 11 PRO 64bit * MSI 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio GPU * Corsair Vengeance 64GB(4x16GB) RAM * Solidigm P44 Pro 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD (Win11 Pro) + Intel 665p 1TB M.2 NVMe (storage) + Samsung 990 Pro 2TB M.2 NVMe (storage) + Samsung 980 1TB M.2 NVMe (Ubuntu) * Seasonic Vertex GX-1200 1200W ATX 3.0 PSU * Samsung 50 inch QN90A 4K TV/monitor * FANS: Bitfenix Spectre Pro 200mm front intake + 2x Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC 140mm exhaust on Kraken X63 radiator + 1 Noctua NF-A12 120mm rear intake

I thought Windows 7 was not supported on this setup
and the Z370 MB that may work people were having problems with drivers.

BUT I am still trying to get MAC OS installed on mine so first to get a working systems gets a cookie :-)

I could have worded that better...  Z370 does NOT support Windows 7 in any official capacity, however, it looks like there are Windows 7 drivers available for everything except the IGP, & I don't need an IGP anyway.

What I really need to know is: does EVGA use customized drivers, or vanilla drivers ???  If they are custom drivers, then I might have a bunch of problems.
