I had a z270 gigabyte MB that died and I need to replace it. The CPU and Ram work fine. Originally I wanted to go EVGA on that build but it was not out yet.
I am looking at getting the Z270 stinger because I want a system that is compact.

What is the best CPU cooler and case for that MB?

I've built my machine in an EVGA Hadron Air, a beautiful and compact mITX case with a 550W PSU included. It seemed to be discontinued but it is for sale again. Please note: the built-in fans are not PWM-compatible (I just realized it), you probably want to replace them.

I placed an Arctic Freezer 13 Limited Edition in it (titanium black - hell yeah 🙂) that has a maximum cooling performance of 200W (!).

Will any of the CPU Closed Loop Coolers fit in the Hadron cases?

check out the ThermalTake V1, its a small cube that supports a 120 AIO and is roomy enough for a real PSU and full size GPU (2 slot spaces thick only). i just did one in it and it was a pleasure to work with.
