Why does it have two usb connections? It seems to be working fine with just one. I guess the one that lights up the board and let's you type is the power, so what is the other one doing?

    You would need two connectors if you connected to a USB 2.0 port not 3.0

    Any usb c or usb 3.1? My red dragon currently uses usb-c it’s effective

    i'm confused - so if i plug the usb that has a "keyboard" etched on it into a usb 3.0 then i wont need to plug in the other usb and audio plug? is this correct?

    The USB with keyboard is just for that keyboard to be connected to be used. Than other USB is to connect the 2 USB's on keyboard to function as extended 2.1 USB connectors to use for your USB stuff you want to connect .
