The bad thing about this system is those that have already gotten a card that otherwise would not have bothered trying to get another now have the opportunity to get a second card and potentially scalp it.

I didn’t get mine in until 10/5 when this change was announced. Bunch of garbage.
I didn’t even bother hitting auto notify because their horrible system wasn’t even working. And now I’m either stuck waiting forever or trying to scramble to buy one elsewhere.
Absolute dumpster fire of a launch. They should’ve just done this from the start.

I feel your pain, did not do mine until 10/1. I did not think pressing auto-notify would do much good on initial launch so I did not. Hindsight and all that I guess. On the bright side at least we have a spot reserved and if we can find the card from another etailer in the meantime we are good.

I think there a better chance of getting the non ultra FTW as the lineup for it is much much smaller. I put my eggs in that basket.
I was 09/20 at like 10:07am.
For 20 bucks cheaper it might not have as high of boost clock as the ultra but I bet once overclocking they both tap out the same area. Unless they really bin the chips alot and im totally wrong haha.

its my understanding the 1 per customer thing is 1 part number per account, with no time expiration. So if they already got one, they can't get another. But there is nothing stopping anyone from buying one of each and scalping all except the one they want, short of installing explosives or nannycams or some draconian big brother type crap in all the videocards, things will happen.

Same thing here. Had it in my card multiple times at launch, orders even went through and were confirmed from my bank, only to get nothing. Didn't bother with the notify button as I have every other launch, because it never works and usually is pointless. So I guess I did it 8 days later.
