looks like a win for AMD hardware

Both Microsoft and Sony said long ago they were going with AMD again. Logistically its the easiest company to deal with as AMD at this current time is the only company producing high end CPU's and GPU's. Intel may have a crack at it next time.

Console gamer's still believe it will have 2080TI performance, unless the TDP ceiling has disintegrated, it is not happening.

I know the feeling but when you realize the Xbox One and PS4 came out in 2013 and most games are a port from consoles. It's a huge difference to go from games made for if I remember right DX10 for the Xbox One to having support for DX12 for the Xbox Series X and it's pretty big to have native ray tracing on the console as well as an SSD. Xbox Series X is what will make the 2080Ti really shine as the base games that PC gaming are going to be looking better are going to really look great with a full seven years of hardware improvements.
