As a masochist I have been trying to get XMP to work with 4 DIMMs.  However I'm having issues with XMP with any configuration if I am using slots 1 and 3.  I am using 2 different sets of 32GB XPG 6000MHz RAM 2x16GB.  I have tested both in slots 2 and 4, which I know are the preferred slots, and both will XMP fine. In slots 1 and 3 without having anything in slot 2 and 4, the machine will get into windows fine, but if I try and XMP in either of those slots or both together I get nothing.  I know getting 4 DIMMS to XMP is tricky especially with 2 sets of 2x16, but is it normal for slots 1 and 3 not be able to XMP even if they are the only populated slots? The machine also works with all 4 slots at 4000Mhz with no issues.  Trying to figure out if the slot 1 and 3 issue is normal or if it is something with my board.

Also are XMP profiles limited to the specific RAM?  I can only use Profile 1.  Profile 2 and 3 are just blank.  Updated Bios to 1.15 already and have had the same issues before and after.  Previously had 52000MHz installed and also only had the one profile. Thanks for any help.

I think that's fairly normal, which is why you're supposed to start with slots 2 and 4 with 2 DIMMs.

The 4000MHz with 4 DIMMs is a chipset limitation straight from Intel, so I don't know if you'll get much higher than that with 4 DIMMs, but I don't believe you'll get to 6000MHz.

I've heard of people getting it to work, but it is on boards that you can set the PMIC to a per DIMM Setting, along with upping the voltage a little bit.  I wish they would add the PMIC setting.

So far I have been able to do 4800 and 5200 with 4 sticks of XPG Lancer 6000.  Failed at 6000 though and slowly working my way up.  Not done a lot of testing though.
