So i have had the evga xc3 ultra 3080 since nov 2020...from the get go had issues...started with Destiny...game would crash randomly..it could be intense action or just loading to a new planet...i even under clocked the card and it would still do it..then i tried diablo 3...after a few hours same thing..game would freeze and close or sometimes even bod me..on either game...and today was plahing Outriders and bam staright out froze...i had a 1080ti before this and never did i freeze like this in any game..i have updated everything there is to update and this still happens...EVGA do u guys send replacement via rma or just refund? If you dont have 3080s can i just upgrade to 3090 and pay difference? Also if community has any fixes i can try..

the single cable with splitters at the end isn't going to cut it from what most people on here say...
you should open up your psu box & get a 2nd cable/ plug to run separate plugs for each power connector on your card.

Are you using PX1 from EVGA  ?    I wouldn't,  it causes issues...
Did you already do the Rebar firmware update ?  Also a known problem for many ....
I would also download the latest Nvidia driver and do a clean install of that....

You have a lot of reading on the forums to do of similar issues ....

You need to use completely separate cables from your PSU to your CPU. You are daisy chaining right now. Not the best thing but usually not the end of the world. Get that sorted out then try again.

Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL
    Mobo: Asrock X570 Taichi
    CPU: Ryzen 5900x
GPU: EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra
    RAM: Crucial Ballistix OC to 3800 16 18 18 1:1
    PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 1600w
Cooling: Custom hardline loop: optimus blocks, primochill stuff, lian li stuff, HW Labs 60mm radiators, custom stuff

I use afterburner. I will try 2 different gpu cables and see how that works. Also i was using stock cables from psu at first on a different tower and it was still doing it. I have even done clean install of the whole system. Drivers and all. I just installed the resize bar update today.

Im not sure i follow. Right now basically i have my cpu cable with a extender and my MOBO cable also with extender but both go into their respective spots on psu.

We mean, do NOT use the cables that have the 8/6+2 splitter on them to only power the card.
You need to use a 1 cable for 1 plug on your video card , then use another cable for the other power plug...
Two separate plugs/ cables from the PSU for every single power connector  on your video card.
