XC3 fan whine/beep

Does anybody else with an XC3 card notice a faint whine or beep coming from their card?  If I gently stop one of the fans, the beep is continuous while it ramps back up to speed and then intermittent once it stabilizes.

    I have the same exact issue, almost sounds like coil whine.

    Does this have any longterm effects on the fans?  I'm partially deaf so if when I get mine, I may not notice.

    I'm partially deaf so if when I get mine, I may not notice. 


    I feel you. Worked around jet engines for twenty years so my coil whine is 24/7 tinnitus and people yelling at me.

    I understand that feeling.  24/7 Tinnitus in both ears as well.  I physically felt "pops" in my head on each side.  Top right popped, left ear got tinnitus, then left side popped like 2 months later and right ear got tinnitus.  Already went to several ENTs and CAT scans and no one can explain or see Why/How it happened.  The doctor's never heard anyone depicting the exact moment when it happened.  It's messed up, but we all do our best to live with it for now.  Getting a little off-topic, but good to see someone understanding my perspective.

    I wouldn't expect it to make much of a difference.  It's definitely not mechanical rubbing.
     
    I think I'll just see if support would be willing to send me an individual replacement fan.  I don't mind swapping it myself.
