@Krzysztof47
thanks for your answer. Yes I meant VRM, since EVGA is calling the corresponding temperature sensor "pwm", I thought thats the correct name ;)

I did compare photos too. I did come to the same conclusion, that it might fit. I'll simply try it.

Edit: photos of the back of the Micro, FTW and Classified (in that order)

the screw holes of the Micro and FTW seem to be similar.

Those are great pictures of the back, looks like the micro shares the same screw layout as the FTW, the VRM block for the Thor EIX 99 kit allows the user to swap the mounting washers from two positions.  There is a FTW position and a Classified position, you will be using the FTW position in the photos.  And no worries about the PWM block.  I think there is a very good chance this will fit, also considering the Heatsinks on the FTW and Micro appear to be physically the same, with the same amount of caps underneath.  In terms of affixing the VRM block its just 2x plastic washers and a 2x small screws.  I actually posted a picture (1st page) from Modders INC (they have a good review of the whole block) of the VRM block and screw layout in this whole thread its in one of the previous posts I made.  The monoblock itself is made up of the CPU block, VRM block, Chipset block, and the top acrylic block which joins everything together via short plug fittings.  The blocks and thermal pads that come with this kit are machined very well/good quality, you will not be disappointed.  Good luck and I hope this works out for you, definitely a cool project.

Here you can find the installation manual: https://bitspower.com/html/product/pro_show.php?products_id=3811

Hello guys,
I finally received my Bitspower EIX99 Thor set today. The Bitspower VRM Block fits perfectly on the EVGA X99 Micro VRM. I was able to get the Bitspower set in used condition for 60 €. It was never available in the EU, the first owner imported it from the States for more than 200 €
Regards

This is great news, maybe upload a photo of the block on the Micro, again great work, and I am happy to hear it worked out for you.

I today thought about Monoblock for EVGA X299 Dark.
Definitely will be needed at least 50-100 samples.
It's would be bad to remove nice upper heatsink but Monoblock will look probably better.

got my system done.  Now just waitin gfor some parts to arrive from caselab to finish up the PETG setup.  Its hybrid PETG and regular flex tubing at the moment.  The Thor fits perfectly.  I would recommend having a second person to help, that screw for the lower right was tricky as heck LOL.

Is there a way to get only the VRM block?

or better even, could someone measure the screw whole distance from the vrms roughly?

You could contact Bitspower's online shop, that would be the only way really to find out.  The distance is roughly ~84.5mm (measured with calipers)

Just want to post that you can buy the blocks for this kit separately from bitspower along with the special push fittings, ive gotten a spare Top Mono block and fittings from them.  Posting this because I know some users just wanted to get the VRM block.  If you are not sure where to go here is there store: https://www.bitspower.com.tw/index.php?main_page=products_all

Just send them an email with the part you want and they will work it out for you.

No problem, that was the whole reason for this post.  $175 is a good price considering you get a full cover kit for your motherboard, fittings, thermal pads and spare O-Rings, good deal if you ask me.  You can still install an M.2 under cover and have access to the mounting screw, so its completely possible.  In a week I should get some spare parts I ordered from Bitspower and do a tear-down of the Chipset block since it is pretty interesting and get the square bracket to show that the EF-X is 100% compatibly with the THOR EIX99 Kit.

The spare parts showed up.  I installed the Square bracket on EF-X Summit block and you can see it is 100% compatible.  The bracket has some wiggly room but that is normal since the block only has two points of contact for the O-Ring and not three.  All the components fit and on paper this should have better flow over the regular EF block and give probably slightly better core temps.

Here it is fully assembled outside of a motherboard, with the EF-X Summit Block.  The setup was also pressure tested and works 100%.  This should be a lower restriction setup now with the better CPU block.

I have not installed the block yet, I will when I change my coolant.  But when I do, I will post the results.  I  am guessing maybe a 1-2c drop and hopefully better flow rates.  I will be removing 5x 90 degree rotary fittings and adding a 7th QDC so we will see how this works out.

Or you can just simply cut part of the shroud over M.2 slot and solve whole conundrum created by Bitspower. I was exchanging some emails with BP why they designed it so weirdly.

I have two of those sets (Classy) and first I cut the shroud and then ditched chipset part and FCB top for universal block. There is too much hassle removing M.2, first GPU, RAM or battery if something goes wrong. And maintenance is pain as you can't drain completely blocks using just gravity. I strongly considering the same approach for second build. Practicality over form for me, always. Still I'm glad there is at least one company which made block for EVGA X99 boards. And its all what counts - even for me leaving half of set unused.

As for temps. VRMs never get above 35C while with standard Classy radiator nominal idle temperature on summer day was 45C. Southbridge/chipset never move past 30C.

Note1: I've used different thermalpads on VRM than default provided by Bitspower - 17W/mk by Alphacool vel re-branded Sarcon. These are extremely expensive pads, but also best in the business.
Note2: It's system from ModRigs. Many things changed (like removal of LEDs, changing storage a lot) since I've posted it, but block setup remains the same.

Thanks for your input.  17W/mk thermal pads are too expensive in my opinion, and honestly to the average consumer in this field, they are better off using the pads that come with the unit, I doubt there would be a big temp difference from say 5W/mk to 17W/mk to justify costs, if I am wrong I would appreciate input.  Those are great temps, my VRM on idle is around 27c to 30c using the thermal pads that came with the unit, I can imagine under load its probably within the same range, though I am not running an Overclock right now, but if you are than those are again very great temps.  This is also in a small room with a temperature of around 70 to 74f and 40 to 50% humidity.  Hopefully this gives people an idea of the cooling this unit offers.  Again this will be different from build to build and other variables.
