Sweet some good info there. Was just lookin at cards the other day and shakin my head at that color scheme (asus).
Ive had power on speaker pops from a couple Asus boards as well, very annoying.
Someone told me they are getting good sound from usb sound cards as well. Any experience with them?

I've used the Classified and didn't feel a huge difference between that and the small sound card that came with the headphones.  I'm still debating and looking to see what is the best combination with a Sennhieser PC363D headset.

The only USB sound device I have used was a Corsair Vengeance H2100 wireless headset. It had decent sound but the headphones were heavy and made my ears sweat particularly in the summer. I really like my Sennheiser PC360s. Very light weight and have an open ear design. I lose a bit of bass response because of it but my ears do not sweat during the summer heat :D

I have been following Sennheiser's GSX 1000 binaural USB DAC/AMP development and might give it a try when they are available....

The Sennheiser's GSX 1000 & 1200 look pretty awesome I was just checking them out. I couldnt find anything about stereo sound, they arent just virtual 7.1 devices are they?
I use the Sennheiser G4me Zero's

edit: Amazons page says 24bit stereo audio (HD) so I guess yeah it would have to have stereo. Thanks for the heads up on this! kinda pricey though but im sick of using my rog front base for sound

You MIGHT be interested in a M.2 if you want boot times anywhere from 3-9 seconds long. lol  Very fast.  The only thing is you have to make it to work and make sure the said drive works with said MB.  There is a process to get it to become a boot drive as it is not a install and set.

Also, I believe the add-in PCI-E Core3D card is the same one built into the board because I do know it is a quad core as well.

mr_scary Doubt I'll ever use the M.2

Funny I was just messing around reading old posts, and found this amusing as I did end up needing the M.2 slots, but ended up using PCIe-NVMe adapter cards.
3 of these now https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GFDVXVJ

It really does help to listen advise. Thanks @GTXJackBauer
