Very helpful. Thank you for the link.
I was using the 14.8.16.1063, I read the page and was recommended to use 14.8.16.1066. Which I do not have already for some reason.
I did notice my HDD raid took a 50% performance hit after updating the BIOS to 2.08, and upgrading the IRST drivers, and upgrading since Win 10 1809.
So my RAID is decreased in 50% performance in 3 years total. Technology is wonderful.
but Also I always wondered how I got 1400\MBPS with 5 HDD in raid 0, now I'm getting approx. 700/MBPS
the 700 sounds more realistic as a single drive gets around 150/MBPS.
Maybe the older drivers used the RAM to cache the raid. or the HDD cache was being utilized I'm not sure how the performance was degraded.
***** EDIT. I just ran a test and the RAID is performing perfectly after this new install of Windows and drivers.
X99 Chipset: 10.1.2.85
Intel RST: 14.5.0.1081
Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 | OS build 19042.630 | Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0
This seems to be working better then the last config I had.
I will download the 66 IRST from that link though.
