What happened to the X99 chipset drivers.
The intel links are no good, and can't find anything on Intel's site.

bcavnaugh was keeping them current. but the links are not going anywhere on Intel's site.
EVGA still has a very old driver posted 10.1.2.85

Just installed the latest Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042.572 and need the latest driver version.
The latest driver I have is 10.1.17903.8106_PV
Some good news is Windows has not tried installing any chipset drivers as of yet.

Thanks..

Yeah, all that is showing up on their site appears to the the USB 3 driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81761

You can try the one linked for the X299, but there's no telling if that will work: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29634/Chipset-INF-Utility?product=122941

Thanks for the link, it also timed out.
Your reply is also appreciated.

I think their website is just as bad their business decisions.
I've had far to many problems with Intel past few years.
All they say is they are looking into issues, and never another word.
Then they delete the thread, Then you can't even get drivers.

Luckily I had X99 Chipset drivers I had download from 10.1.2.77 to 10.1.18019.8144
But was looking for the latest one just before 10.1.18019.8144 as this one was removed likely because it had issues..

Also their Intel Driver and Support Assistant is also complete trash.

I'm actually just going to use (Chipset 10.1.285) along with (IRST 14.5.0.1081) hopefully without issues.

Very helpful. Thank you for the link.

I was using the 14.8.16.1063, I read the page and was recommended to use 14.8.16.1066. Which I do not have already for some reason.
I did notice my HDD raid took a 50% performance hit after updating the BIOS to 2.08, and upgrading the IRST drivers, and upgrading since Win 10 1809.

So my RAID is decreased in 50% performance in 3 years total. Technology is wonderful.
but Also I always wondered how I got 1400\MBPS with 5 HDD in raid 0, now I'm getting approx. 700/MBPS
the 700 sounds more realistic as a single drive gets around 150/MBPS.
Maybe the older drivers used the RAM to cache the raid. or the HDD cache was being utilized I'm not sure how the performance was degraded.

***** EDIT. I just ran a test and the RAID is performing perfectly after this new install of Windows and drivers.
X99 Chipset: 10.1.2.85
Intel RST: 14.5.0.1081
Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 | OS build 19042.630 | Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0

This seems to be working better then the last config I had.
I will download the 66 IRST from that link though.

That's why I usually post a link and not recommend any particular version as individual system configs can make a difference in performance. Also I use
https://www.grc.com/inspectre.htm
Inspectre to disable Meltdown and Spectre ucode mitigations to gain back ~20% SSD performance. Unless you have hacker in your house, the mitigations are doing nothing but wasting clock cycles.

t would at least be nice if these had the version number with it.
Intel still has no updates via the website or driver assistant. Seems we are on our own.
I'm probably going with AMD next build, which sucks because EVGA doesn't do AMD.
